TWO DESPERATE GOLD CHAIN SNATCHERS

CARRYING ILLEGAL COUNTRY-MADE FIREARMS APPREHENDED BY SPECIAL STAFF, EAST DISTRICT, DELHI.
Two desperate snatchers, identified as Sahbaz & Arman were caught with illegal country-made firearms.
Two country made desi katta were recovered from the possession of the accused.
One accused has a history of previous involvement.
INCIDENT & INVESTIGATION:
On 17.05.2025, acting on heightened surveillance and strategic patrolling in view of increasing incidents of chain snatching, a dedicated team from the Special Staff, East District—comprising SI Anil Kumar, HC Himanshu, HC Hemant, HC Naresh Pal, HC Naresh, HC Shailender, HC Vichitre, and HC Vinit—was deployed in the Paper Market area, Ghazipur, Delhi.
During the patrol, the team identified a suspicious individual exhibiting evasive behavior. He was immediately intercepted and apprehended. Upon interrogation, he revealed his identity as Arman @ Biji (21 years), R/o E Block 32, Trilokpuri, Delhi. A thorough search led to the recovery of one country-made firearm (Desi Katta) along with two live cartridges from his possession. A case was promptly registered under FIR No. 243/25, dated 17.05.2025, U/s 25 Arms Act at Police Station Ghazipur, and further investigation was initiated.
During the investigation, the arrested individual disclosed the source of the illegal arms. Based on the inputs, the team apprehended another accused, Sahbaz @ Sukha (25 years), R/o E Block Ambedkar camp Trilok Puri Delhi who was also found in possession of a country-made firearm and two live cartridges. Further investigation of the case is in progress.

Age: 21 yrs.
Qualification: 10th passed.
Occupation: Jobless.
Involvement: Nil.
Sahbaz @ Sukha R/o E Block Ambedkar camp Trilok Puri Delhi.
Age: 25 yrs.
Qualification: 8th passed.
Occupation: Jobless.
Involvement: 08 criminal cases.
