 ARRESTED BY THE TEAM OF POLICE POST NS MANDI AZADPUR, PS MAHENDRA PARK

    TWO STOLEN  SCOOTIES & TWO STOLEN MOBILE PHONES RECOVERED. 
    BOTH ACCUSED ARE HABITUAL OFFENDERS, PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 32 CASES OF ROBBERY, SNATCHING, THEFT & ARMS ACT.
    ACCUSED RAHUL IS BC OF PS MAHENDRA PARK.
               
    The patrolling staff of Police Post NS Mandi, PS Mahendra Park, has apprehended two Auto-Lifters cum thieves, namely, Rahul S/o Bijender R/o A-Block, Jahangir Puri, New Delhi, Age-24 Years and Jahid Ali @ Ali S/o Niyamat Ali R/o Market Jahangir Puri, New Delhi, Age-27 Years and recovered two stolen Scooties & two stolen mobile phones from their possession. Both accused are habitual and active criminals with a history of involvement in 32 previous cases related to robbery, snatching, theft & Arms Act.

    BRIEF FACTS & INCIDENT DETAILS:
    As part of ongoing efforts to enhance the safety and security of the public, the North West District has intensified its Police Patrolling and crime prevention measures. Regular patrols are being conducted to ensure heightened police presence and a swift response to any security threats. This collaborative initiative reinforces law and order across the region, deterring criminal activities and ensuring the safety of the public.
Resultantly, on 04.03.2025, HC Sunil, HC Dayaram and Ct. Dashrathwere carrying out evening patrolling duty under the supervision of SI Sachin (I/C PP NSM), Insp. Vijay Sanwal (SHO/PS Mahendra Park) with overall supervision by Sh. Rajvir Lamba, (ACP/Shalimar Bagh).

    During patrolling, the team noticed two suspicious individual riding a Scooty. Having suspicion, the police staff stopped them and they were asked to produce the documents of ownership of the Scooty but they were unable to produce the documents. The individuals were identified as Rahul S/o Bijender R/o A-Block, Jahangir Puri, New Delhi, Age-24 Years and Jahid Ali @ Ali S/o Niyamat Ali R/o Market Jahangir Puri, New Delhi, Age-27 Years. On enquiry the said Scooty was found to be stolen from PS Adarsh Nagar. During their cursory search two mobile phones were also recovered from their possession.

    Upon verification, the accused were questioned regarding the recovered mobile phone. Recovered mobile phones were found to be stolen from the area of PS Mahendra Park. On their instance, 01 scooty also recovered which were found to be stolen from the area of PS Adarsh Nagar. Both accused are habitual and active criminals with a history of involvement in 32 previous cases related to robbery, snatching, theft & Arms Act.

Further, efforts are being made to trace their possible involvement in other cases also.

    One stolen scooty make Activa No. DL8SCE-4546.
    One stolen scooty make Honda Activa No. DL10AC-0565.
