At least 8 people dead, after a massive fire broke out in a building at Gulzar House Road near Charminar this morning today.

More than 10 fire engines reached the spot and the fire fighters trying to douse the fire.

Police, fire fighters and locals evacuated the people trapped inside the building.

About 16 people were rescued and shifted to different hospitals, many of them seriously injured due to suffocation.

Eight of them, including 3 women and 2 children who seriously injured, succumbed during treatment.

The cause of the fire is yet to be known: Fire official, Hyderabad.
