🚨 *POLICE STATION: ANTI AUTO THEFT SQUAD (AATS), OUTER DISTRICT* 🚨

In line with the directions issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Outer District, the AATS (Anti-Auto Theft Squad) personnel have been thoroughly briefed and sensitized to strengthen the network of local secret informers and enhance human intelligence gathering related to active motor vehicle thieves.

Emphasis has been placed on adopting proactive policing strategies aimed at maintaining law and order, while ensuring the safety and security of citizens across the Outer District. These efforts are part of a sustained campaign to curb street crime and uphold public confidence in law enforcement.

⏩️ *TEAM CONSTITUTION*

A dedicated team from the Anti Auto Theft Squad (AATS) comprising ASI Vijay, HC Manjeet and Ct. Aryadeep was formed and deployed under the leadership of Inspector Rajpal, I/C AATS under the close supervision of Sh. Jai Parkash, ACP/Operations.

⏭️ *OPERATION AND INTERROGATION:*

On 25.07.2025, a credible secret information was received from a reliable informer indicating that an autolifter, Lucky@Udta Punjab, would be coming to the vicinity of Sultanpuri. Acting on this intelligence, a strategic trap was laid by the team at the identified location.

During the  operation, a person riding on a motorcycle matching the provided description was spotted by the team. Acting swiftly, the team successfully intercepted the motorcycle and apprehended the individual.

Upon interrogation, the suspect confirmed his identity as:

🔹️ Lucky@Udta Punjab

Upon verification through ZIPNET, the motorcycle was found to be stolen and linked to FIR No. 20329/2025 registered at PS Sultanpuri.

Pursuing the investigation further, another stolen scooty was recovered at his instance. Upon verification, it was also found to be stolen in FIR No. 20111/2025 registered at PS Vijay Vihar (Rohini District).

Further inquiry revealed that the accused Lucky@Udta Punjab is previously involved in FIR No. 197/2024, under sections 382/120B/511 of IPC, PS Vijay Vihar (Rohini District).

The accused Lucky@Udta Punjab was arrested and the recovered stolen motorcycle and scooty were duly seized as case property.
