*🚨POLICE STATION: SPECIAL STAFF, OUTER DISTRICT AND PS MANGOLPURI 🚨*

In a proactive move against organized crime, especially illegal gambling, a dedicated team comprising SI Vipin, ASI Murari Lal, HC Shakti and HC Vikas Tyagi of the Special Staff, Outer District, was formed under the leadership of Inspector Rohit, I/C Special Staff, with close supervision by Sh. Jai Parkash, ACP/Operations.

This strategic initiative aimed to strengthen enforcement efforts, enhance local vigilance and ensure swift action against unlawful activities disrupting peace and public order in the district.

*⏭️ OPERATION AND INTERROGATION:*

On the night of 18th July 2025, the team was on patrol in Mangolpuri area to prevent and detect criminal activities. While the team reached near F-2 Park, noticed some suspicious activity.

The staff observed a group of individuals sitting on the ground and, upon approaching, found them engaged in illegal gambling. As the police team intervened, the suspects attempted to flee but were quickly overpowered and apprehended three suspects with the help of local police personnel HC Parmod and Ct. Rajinder of PS Mangolpuri on the spot.

A thorough search of the area uncovered Rs. 1,63,500/- in cash, which was being used for gambling, along with other related items.

As a result, a case was registered under FIR No. 527/2025 under sections 12/9/55 of The Delhi Public Gambling Act at Police Station Mangolpuri.

All three accused persons were arrested and all recovery were seized.
