✳️ *THE ACCUSED FEMALE WAS EXTERNED FOR A PERIOD OF 02 YEARS BY ADDL. DCP/SWD VIDE ORDER DATED 29.04.2025.*

✳️ *THE ACCUSED IS PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 34 CASES OF NDPS & EXCISE ACT.*

    The team of Operations Cell, South West District has done a commendable work by arresting one notorious female externee namely *Bimla Devi R/o Mahavir Enclave Part-I, Palam, Delhi, Age 55 years.*

*INFORMATION, TEAM & ARREST:*
    To curb crime and ensure a safe environment for the citizens of the South West District, various initiatives are being regularly undertaken by the team of Operations Cell/SWD to control criminal activities related to drug peddling and the supply of narcotic substances, with the objective of ensuring a safe and secure environment. The team of Operations Cell/SWD was being regularly briefed to keep a close watch on active criminals/BCs and externees. Accordingly, a dedicated team comprising SI Anil Kumar, ASI Ved Prakash, Ct. Rajesh, Ct. Farhaan and W/Ct. Somata was constituted under the leadership of Insp. Gajender Singh and under the close supervision of Sh. Vijay Kumar, ACP/Operations/SWD to identify and apprehend the externees by conducting thorough checks in the areas. Vigil patrolling in the area was also being conducted.

     On 17.07.2025, Ct. Rajesh received information from a confidential source regarding one externee, Bimla Devi, who had been externed for 2 years by Addl. DCP/SW vide order dated 29.04.2025. Acting upon the input, a trap was laid and the said female was apprehended from the adjoining area of Palam Village under the jurisdiction of PS Palam Village. On questioning, the accused lady failed to produce any court relief/stay/warrant or legal justification for her presence in the area, thereby violating the externment order. Thus, a legal action under the provision of u/s 53/116 DP Act was taken against her.

*PROFILE OF ACCUSED ARRESTED:*
    Accused Bimla Devi R/o Mahavir Enclave Part-1, Palam, Delhi, Age 55 years is previously involved in 34 cases of NDPS & Delhi Excise Act registered at various police stations in Delhi.

    The accused Bimla Devi was produced before the concerned court and externment cell was also informed accordingly.
