*🚨 POLICE STATION: NIHAL VIHAR*

Under the leadership of the DCP, all personnel have been actively briefed to adopt a zero-tolerance approach towards anti-social elements. Patrolling has been intensified, presence has been made visible, and every beat staff has been tasked with proactive community engagement — ensuring not just law enforcement, but public assurance.

*⏭️*OPERATION:*

On 15.07.25, during routine patrolling in the area of Nihal Vihar,  Ct. Vipin and Ct. Bunty noticed a suspicious person riding on a motorcycle near Pipal Wali Gali in F-Block.  When staff signaled to stop the rider, he instead attempted to flee by taking a U-turn. However, the alert staff acted swiftly and successfully intercepted the motorcycle, apprehended the suspect. The accused was identified as Gaurav Gupta.

The suspect Gaurav Gupta asked to produced the relevant documents of motorcycle but he couldn't. Subsequently, the motorcycle was checked through ZIPNET and it was found to be stolen as per e-FIR No. 012884/2025, PS Nihal Vihar.

⏭️ *FURTHER RECOVERY*

Upon sustained interrogation, accused Gaurav Gupta disclosed information about another stolen motorcycle. Acting on his instance, the second motorcycle was recovered which was stolen in case e-FIR No. 018762/2025, PS Tilak Nagar (West District).

*⏭️CRIMINAL BACKGROUND:*

On verification, the accused was found to be previously involved in 04 other criminal cases including Burglary and Theft.

The accused was arrested in connection with the respective cases and both recovered stolen motorcycles were seized.
