✳️     *TWO FEMALE ILLEGAL BANGLADESHI MIGRANTS DETAINED BY THE TEAM OF OPERATIONS CELL, SOUTH WEST DISTRICT.*

✳️     *THEY WERE LIVING ILLEGALLY IN INDIA SINCE 2024.*

✳️     *BANGLADESHI IDENTITY DOCUMENTS WERE FOUND IN THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS AND HIDDEN FOLDERS OF THEIR MOBILE PHONES.*

✳️     *FRESH DEPORTATION PROCESS INITIATED WITH THE HELP OF FRRO, DELHI AFTER COMPLETING ALL CODAL FORMALITIES*

      The team of Operations Cell, South West District has done commendable work by tracing/apprehending two Bangladeshi females residing illegally in Delhi, namely *Doli Begum* R/o Village Sukhtail, District Gopalganj, Bangladesh, Age 37 years & *Morium Akhtar* R/o Village Choudhary Gaon, Kashipur, PS Narayanganj, Sadar, Dhaka, Bangladesh, Age 28 years. Fresh deportation process was initiated with the help of FRRO, Delhi after completing all codal formalities.

*INFORMATION & OPERATION:*
      To prevent crime and monitor foreigners residing illegally in the jurisdiction of South West District, a dedicated team of Operations Cell/SWD was directed to gather intelligence and take strict action against illegal migrants. Accrodingly, a dedicated team comprising SI Rakesh Kumar, HC Sundar, HC Sandeep, Ct. Farmaan and W/Ct. Somata was constituted under the leadership of Insp. Gajender Singh, I/C Anti Narcotics Cell & under the supervision of Sh. Vijay Kumar, ACP/Operations, South West District. The team was briefed for vigil patrols, ensuring effective vigilance and proactive measures against illegal Bangladeshi migrants by conducting thorough checks, particularly in vulnerable areas.

     On 14.07.2025, the team received secret information that some illegal Bangladeshi female migrants are roaming in Delhi Cantt area. The individuals were identified & pointed out by the informer. Acting swiftly on the secret information, the team approached the suspected individuals, asked their identification documents, and conducted an enquiry thoroughly. The individuals failed to produce valid documents and admitted of being illegal Bangladeshi migrants who had entered India in the 2023 through the Bangaon border and Tripura state by illegal means. They disclosed that they were seeking housekeeping jobs in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi but were unable to secure suitable employment. On the day of apprehension, they were in the Dwarka area in search of work. During the search of their mobile phones and social media accounts, the team recovered identity documents, including the National ID cards of Bangladesh. A total of two female suspects were apprehended. After thorough verification and enquiry, the necessary legal formalities were completed, leading to initiation of their deportation through the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO).

2. Morium Akhtar R/o Village Choudhary Gaon, Kashipur, PS Narayanganj, Sadar, Dhaka, Bangladesh, Age 28 years.

  This successful operation highlights the South West District Police's zero-tolerance approach toward illegal immigration and their commitment to enforcing the rule of law.
