IMMEDIATE CO-ORDINATION BETWEEN TEAMS OF PS KAMLA MARKET HELPED IN INSTANT ARREST OF SNATCHER; SNATCHED MOBILE PHONE RECOVERED AND STOLEN SCOOTY SEIZED

•    SNATCHED SAMSUNG MOBILE PHONE RECOVERED.
•    STOLEN WHITE HONDA ACTIVA SCOOTER USED IN CRIME ALSO RECOVERED.
•    CASE SOLVED WITHIN HOURS OF REPORTING THROUGH PROACTIVE PATROLLING AND VEHICLE CHECKING.

BRIEF OF INCIDENT:
On 13.07.2025, an incident of mobile snatching was reported at PS Kamla Market, wherein he stated that while he was heading towards New Delhi Railway Station at around 7:00 PM, two individuals on a white Honda Activa snatched his mobile phone near Ajmeri Gate Chowk and fled towards Paharganj. His Aadhaar card and ₹600/- were also kept in the mobile cover.
Based on his statement, a case vide FIR No. 251/2025 u/s 304(2)/3(5) BNS was registered.

TEAM AND OPERATION:
A special team was formed comprising S.I. Deepak Meena, HC Ankush Kumar, Ct. Shekhar Kumar, and Ct. Naresh under the overall supervision of SHO/Kamla Market and guidance of Ms Sulekha, ACP/Kamla Market.
Immediately the information was circulated in patrolling staff and vehicle checking pickets for identification and apprehension of snatchers. During vehicle checking at Pull Paharganj, a person riding the white Activa similar to that incident was observed who attempted to evade police checking. He was immediately apprehended. He was identified as Lokesh @ Machchar R/o Kabir Nagar, Rana Pratap Bagh, PS Bharat Nagar, Delhi, Age: 26 years
Upon personal search, the team recovered the snatched Samsung mobile phone from his possession. The scooty was also found to be stolen, related to FIR No. 018294/2025 u/s 305(b) BNS, PS Subzi Mandi.

ACCUSED ARRESTED:
1.    Lokesh @ Machchar R/o Kabir Nagar, Rana Pratap Bagh, PS Bharat Nagar, Delhi Age: 26 years

RECOVERY:
1. One snatched Samsung mobile phone 
2. One white Honda Activa scooty
