▶️ *BRIEF FACTS OF THE CASE:*

On 11.07.2025, a complaint was received at Police Station Rani Bagh regarding missing of two sisters'S' (17 years) and 'A' (13 years) both residents of Mahendra Park, Rani Bagh. Based on the complaint submitted by their parents, a case was registered under FIR No. 191/25, section 137(2) of the BNS at PS Rani Bagh. The girls had reportedly been missing since 08.07.2025

▶️▶️ *TEAM CONSTITUTION:*

Sensing the gravity of the case, a dedicated team consisting of SI Himanshu, SI Ravinder, Ct. Anil and W/Ct. Rita in the supervision of Insp. Prabhanshu Kumar, SHO/Rani Bagh and under the close supervision of Sh. Murari Lal, ACP/Mangol Puri was constituted.

▶️ *OPERATION AND INTERROGATION:*

Immediately after registration of the FIR, a dedicated team was formed to trace the missing girls. Technical surveillance was used but initially limited due to the fact that the girls were not using any active mobile number. It was later revealed that they were carrying a newly purchased mobile handset (Approx. 2 days old) without any SIM card inserted.

Focused efforts were made through alternative digital platforms. Social media tracking and analysis were undertaken. Through close monitoring and online inquiries, their Facebook Messenger activity was traced. Individuals with whom the girls were in regular contact were identified. With the help of soft skills and technical inputs, further leads were developed. Based on social media interactions and approximate geolocation inputs, the girls were successfully traced within 48 hours of the registration of the case. Both girls were safely recovered and reunited with their family.

During the enquiry, it was revealed that the girl 'S' was scolded by her mother and later had an altercation with her father. Upset by the situation, she left home along with her younger sister.

Further, the statements of both girls have been recorded under section 161 of the BNSS. During the preliminary inquiry, no foul play has been found and it appears that both girls had left home voluntarily. However, further investigation is underway to rule out any possible abetment or external influence, if any.
