A DRUG PEDDLER HELD WITH 188.77 GM CHARAS; ARRESTED BY TEAM OF ANTI-NARCOTICS CELL, CENTRAL DISTRICT

•    ONE DRUG TRAFFICKER ARRESTED BY TEAM OF ANTI-NARCOTICS CELL, CENTRAL DISRICT.
•    188.77 GRAMS OF CHARAS RECOVERED FROM HIS POSSESSION.
•    LOCAL SURVEILLANCE AND FIELD INTELLIGENCE HELPED IN THE ARREST OF ACCUSED.
•    ACCUSED IS PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN AN NDPS CASE

BRIEF OF INCIDENT & OPERATION:
On 10.07.2025, specific intelligence input was received regarding active drug trafficking in the area of Channa Market, Karol Bagh, Delhi. The information indicated that one individual was involved in selling charas.
Acting swiftly on the input, a dedicated team of Anti-Narcotics Cell, Central District, was constituted under the close supervision of Inspector Ashish K. Dubey and overall supervision of ACP Operations, Central District. The team comprised SI Pankaj Kumar, SI Iftikhar, ASI Rajeev, ASI Satish, ASI Sunil, HC Manish, HC Dilshad, HC Rahul, HC Pradeep, HC Rajeev, HC Karnal, HC Deepak, HC Rajesh and HC Bhagirath.
The team laid a trap in the Channa Market area and successfully apprehended the suspect. He was identified as Dhruv Sareen R/o WEA Karol Bagh, Channa Market, Delhi, Age: 36 Years. Upon search, 188.77 grams of Charas was recovered from his possession.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 896/25, dated 11.07.2025, U/s 21/61/85 NDPS Act was registered at PS Karol Bagh, and further investigation is in progress.
