🚨 *POLICE STATION: SPECIAL STAFF, OUTER DISTRICT* 🚨

In accordance with the directions from Deputy Commissioner of Police, Outer District, a dedicated team from Special Staff comprising SI SI Vipin Kumar, ASI Murari Lal and HC Vikas led by Inspr. Rohit, I/C Special Staff and under the close supervision of Sh. Jai Parkash, ACP/Operations was formed and deployed to check dark spots and verify suspicious persons in the area.

▶️ *OPERATION AND INTERROGATION:*

On 10.07.2025, during checking of dark spots and parks within the jurisdiction of Police Station Raj Park, the team of Special Staff reached near Water Treatment Plant Road, Phase -1 Industrial Area, Mangolpuri, Delhi. During the inspection, the team noticed a suspicious person who, upon seeing the police, attempted to flee. However, the team acted promptly and successfully apprehended him. Upon questioning, he disclosed his identity as Vikas @ Nakta.

A personal search of the suspect was conducted, during which one country-made pistol was recovered from his possession.

Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 401/25 dated 10.07.2025 under Section 25 of the Arms Act was registered at Police Station Raj Park. Upon enquiry, the accused was found previously involved in more than 24 criminal cases, including theft, snatching, excise and Arms Act . He is also a BC of PS Raj Park.

The accused was arrested and the recovered weapon was duly seized.
