🚨 *POLICE STATION: SULTAN PURI* 🚨

In accordance with the directions issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Outer District, all field staff have been thoroughly briefed and sensitized to maintain vigilance across their respective areas of responsibility. Emphasis has been laid on proactive policing measures to ensure the maintenance of law and order, as well as to safeguard the safety and security of citizens within the jurisdiction of the Outer District.

▶️ *OPERATION AND INTERROGATION:*

On the intervening night of 07-08 July 2025, during routine patrolling duty, Ct. Pappi Ram of Police Station Sultan Puri, while patrolling near Lakhi Ram Chowk, Krishan Vihar, noticed a suspicious individual approaching from the side of RD Public School on a motorcycle in an unusual manner.

Upon spotting police presence, the individual attempted to flee but was apprehended after a brief chase by Ct. Pappi Ram. On preliminary questioning, he was identified as Sachin @ Petu.

A cursory search led to the recovery of a button-actuated knife from his possession. The accused failed to produce any valid document for the motorcycle he was riding. On verification through ZIPNET, the motorcycle was found to be stolen, as per e-FIR No. 10132/25 registered at PS Sadar Bazar.

During the course of the follow-up investigation, the following items were recovered and seized from the accused:-

1) One mobile phone, which upon verification through ZIPNET, was found to be stolen and linked to e-FIR No. 80060236/25 registered at PS Sultan Puri.

2) One scooty, which also upon verification through ZIPNET, was found to be stolen and linked to e-FIR No. 014382/25, PS Sultan Puri.

3) Various computer system parts, Which were also identified as stolen property connected to e-FIR No. 80056173/25, PS Sultan Puri.

Consequently, a case was registered vide FIR No. 476/25, dated 08.07.2025, under Sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act & 106 BNSS at PS Sultan Puri.

The accused is a Bad Character (BC) of PS Sultan Puri and has been previously involved in 12 other criminal cases including robbery, snatching, and Arms Act violations. He was recently released from jail.

The accused has been arrested, and all recovered case properties have been seized.
