🚨 *POLICE STATION:  RANI BAGH* 🚨

 

In accordance with the directions issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Outer District, all patrolling personnel have been thoroughly briefed and sensitized to maintain  vigilance across their respective areas of responsibility. Emphasis has been laid on proactive policing measures to ensure the maintenance of law and order, as well as to safeguard the safety and security of citizens within the jurisdiction of the Outer District.


▶️ *OPERATION:*

On 08th July 2025, during a routine patrol near Shiva Market, Pitampura, Head Constable Amit and Head Constable Sandeep from Police Station Rani Bagh noticed a suspicious car passing by , the staff chased the car and signaled the driver to stop. However, instead of stopping, the driver attempted to escape by speeding up but the alert staff acted swiftly and managed to intercept the car. The driver of the car was apprehended, who was identified as 'Gurmukh Singh' on enquiry.

Upon conducting a thorough search of the car, 1,500 quarters (30 Cartons) of illicit liquor were recovered from it. The cartons bore the label 'For Sale in Haryana Only', indicating unauthorized transportation and intended illegal distribution within Delhi.

Accordingly, a case was registered vide FIR No. 183/2025 at Police Station Rani Bagh under sections 33/58 of The Delhi Excise Act.

The accused Gurmukh Singh was arrested in the case and all recovered illicit liquor alongwith the car used for its transportation was seized.

Gurmukh Singh R/o Jhangola, Delhi, Age 37 years


⏭️ *RECOVERY:*

•    1,500 Quarters of illicit liquor (For sale in Haryana only)
•    01 Car used in transportation of the illicit liquor

 

Further investigation is ongoing to trace the source of the illicit liquor and uncover the broader network involved in its distribution.
