FIVE ILLEGAL BANGLADESHI

✳️     *FIVE ILLEGAL BANGLADESHI MIGRANTS INCLUDING FOUR MALES AND ONE FEMALE, DETAINED BY THE TEAM OF OPERATIONS CELL, SOUTH WEST DISTRICT.*

✳️     *THEY WERE LIVING ILLEGALLY IN INDIA SINCE 2023.*

✳️     *THEY HAVE ONLY BANGLADESHI IDENTITY DOCUMENTS.*

✳️     *FRESH DEPORTATION PROCESS INITIATED WITH THE HELP OF FRRO, DELHI AFTER COMPLETING ALL CODAL FORMALITIES*

      The team of Operations Cell, South West District has done commendable work by tracing/apprehending five Bangladeshi including four males and one female residing illegally in Delhi, namely (1) *Ukil Amin*, R/o Shekhadi Donia, Jatrabari, Dhaka, Bangladesh, age 45 years, (2) *Abdul Rahim*, R/o Shekhadi Donia, Jatrabari, Dhaka, Bangladesh, age 27 years, (3) *Mohd. Zahidul Islam*, R/o Mechani Par, Nageshwari, Distt. Kurigram Bangladesh, age 25 years, (4) *Jimmu Khatoon*, R/o Anantpur, Upjila- Phulbari, Distt. Kurigram, Bangladesh, age 20 years & (5) *Mohd. Zakir*, R/o Shekhadi Donia, Jatrabari, Dhaka, Bangladesh age 40 days Child. Fresh deportation process was initiated with the help of FRRO, Delhi after completing all codal formalities.

*INFORMATION & OPERATION:*
      To prevent crime and monitor foreigners residing illegally in the jurisdiction of South West District, a dedicated team of Operations/SWD was directed to gather intelligence and take strict action against illegal migrants. Accrodingly, a dedicated team comprising SI Ved Prakash, ASI Vinod Kumar, ASI Dharmender, ASI Jaipal, W/ASI Sandhya, HC Mohit, HC Narender, HC Manoj Moral, HC Kishan, HC Prashant and HC Devender was constituted under the leadership of Insp. Ram Kumar & under the supervision of Sh. Vijay Kumar, ACP/Operations, South West District. The team was briefed for vigil patrols, ensuring effective vigilance and proactive measures against illegal activities.

     On 08.07.2025, the team received secret information that some illegal Bangladeshi migrants are roaming in Delhi Cantt area. The individuals were pointed out by the informer. Acting swiftly on the secret information, the staff approached the suspected persons, asked their identification documents, and conducted an enquiry thoroughly. The individuals failed to produce valid documents and admitted of being illegal Bangladeshi migrants who had entered India in the year 2023 by illegal means. They were working at brick kilns in Gaya Bihar. Recently, they were removed from the work by the owner of brick kilns. Due to this, they came to Delhi by train to search the labour work in Delhi. They only had photocopies of Bangladeshi documents i.e. national ID card of Bangladesh. Total 05 suspects were apprehended. After thorough verification and enquiry, the necessary legal formalities were completed, leading to initiation of their deportation through the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO).

  This successful operation highlights the South West District Police's zero-tolerance approach toward illegal immigration and their commitment to enforcing the rule of law.
