•    ONE NOTORIOUS CRIMINAL, DECLARED FUGITIVE/P.O. IN A DACOITY-CUM-MURDER CASE ARRESTED.
•    THREE CO-ACCUSED PERSONS HAVE ALREADY BEEN CONVICTED FOR LIFE IN THE SAID CASE.

INTRODUCTION
The team of ARSC, Crime Branch has arrested one Proclaimed Offender wanted in a dacoity cum murder case.
The Criminal has been identified as Ashish Kumar S/o Satender Kumar R/o Distt Meerut, U.P. Age 35 yrs. The accused was evading arrest in a Dacoity-cum-Murder case registered vide FIR No. 36/15 u/s 302/395/397/412/120B/34 IPC & 27 Arms Act, at PS Maurya Enclave, Delhi and was declared as Proclaimed Offender by Session Court, North West District, Rohini, Delhi vide order dated 04.01.2023.

INFORMATION, TEAM  & OPERATION
On 06/06/2025, on a secret information developed through technical and manual intelligence by SI Chander Prakash, a team of ARSC comprising SI Chander Prakash, SI Manoj Kumar, ASI Ravinder Bhati, HC Manoj Kumar and HC Jitender led by Insp. Arun Sindhu and under the supervision of Sh. Arvind Kumar ACP/ARSC Crime Branch arrested proclaimed offender namely Ashish Kumar S/o Satender Kumar R/o  Distt Meerut, U.P. 
INVOLVEMENTS :- 
FIR No. 36/15 u/s 302/395/397/412/120B/34 IPC & 27 Arms Act, at PS Maurya Enclave, Delhi.
INTERROGATION AND PROFILE OF ACCUSED:-
Ashish Kumar was born in 1990 in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Unmarried, he was still pursuing his undergraduate studies when his friend Amit, already involved in criminal activity—persuaded him to join a plan to rob a businessman in Maurya Enclave, Delhi. Amit, Adil, Shahbad @ Kaddu, Shahbad and Ashish execute the robbery and robbed Rs. 7 Lakh from the victim ; when the victim resisted, they murdered him. Ashish received ₹1.5 lakh as a share from the robbery. In 2020, he obtained 45 days’ interim bail which, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, was repeatedly extended until 2022, but he never surrendered after it. Consequently, he was declared a Proclaimed Offender in 2023 and was later traced while he was working as a laborer at an Oppo manufacturing plant in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
