In a commendable display of swift action and coordinated investigation, the Southern Range Crime Branch has successfully rescued two kidnapped minor girls in separate cases registered at PS Ambedkar Nagar and PS Shalimar Bagh. 
                          A dedicated team comprising of HC Sonveer, W/HC Jyoti, W/Ct Shobha, and W/Ct Renu, under the leadership of Inspector Vijay Pal Dahiya and overall supervision of ACP Girish Kaushik, was entrusted with tracing the kidnapped minors. The team, after dedicated efforts, succeed to trace two kidnapped minor girls from different places. 

Case 1 – Registered in PS Ambedkar Nagar 
                          A case of kidnapping of a 17-year-old girl “J” was registered under Section 137(2) BNS, dated 15.05.2025 in PS Ambedkar Nagar. 
                            W/Ct Renu, through meticulous technical surveillance, developed a crucial lead. Acting swiftly, the team conducted a targeted operation in the Tigri and Ambedkar Nagar market areas. As a result, the kidnapped girl was safely rescued and handed over to the Investigating Officer for further legal proceedings. 

Case 2 – Registeted in  PS Shalimar Bagh 
                           In another case, a 15-year-old girl “C” was reported kidnapped (under Section 137(2) BNS) dated 26.06.2025 from the area of PS Shalimar Bagh. 
                             W/HC Jyoti gathered actionable intelligence via technical means, which led the team to Ambala Railway Station. There, the kidnapped minor was successfully located and rescued. She was subsequently handed over to the Investigating Officer for appropriate legal action. 
Further proceedings are under way.
