•    *HE WAS DECLARED AS PROCLAIMED OFFENDER BY THE HON’BLE COURT OF MS. AISHWARYA SHARMA, JMFC (MAHILA COURT 01) NORTH, ROHINI COURT, DELHI*

*POLICE STATION: RANI BAGH*

In a proactive move to strengthen law enforcement and ensure justice, the Outer District Police has launched a special drive targeting Proclaimed Offenders (POs) who have evaded the law. This initiative is being carried out under the overall supervision and directive of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Outer District.

As part of this operation, a dedicated police team was constituted under the close supervision of Sh. Murari Lal, ACP/Mangol Puri, and under the leadership of Inspector Prabhanshu Kumar, SHO/Rani Bagh. The team comprises ASI Pawan and Head Constable Amit from Police Station Rani Bagh, both of whom have been assigned the responsibility of identifying, tracing, and arresting individuals declared as Proclaimed Offenders by the court.

*OPERATION:*

On June 03.07.2025, the team received credible intelligence regarding the whereabouts of a proclaimed offender identified as Atul Goel. According to the information, the individual was believed to be hiding in the vicinity of Faridabad (Haryana). Acting swiftly on this confidential input, a targeted raid was meticulously planned and executed at the specified location. The raid was conducted successfully, resulting in the apprehension of the suspect.

On 28.06.2025, accused Atul Goel was declared as a proclaimed offender by the Hon'ble Court of Ms. Aishwarya Sharma, JMFC (Mahila Court 01) North, Rohini Court, Delhi in connection with the FIR No. 272/2012 under sections 498A/406 IPC, PS Saraswati Vihar (Now PS Netaji Subhash Place), North West District. He was arrested under Section 35.1(D) of the BNSS Act on 03.07.2025.
