TWO DESPERATE CRIMINALS ARRESTED WITHIN 24 HOURS IN ATTEMPTED MURDER CASE BY ISC, CRIME BRANCH
The Inter State Cell of Crime Branch has successfully arrested two wanted criminals, Akash @ Gaurav @ Gori (24) and Akhil @ Nonu (24), within 24 hours of the incident. The duo was involved in a brutal attempted murder case that took place in the Raj Park area of Outer Delhi on the night of June 29-30, 2025.
Incident Overview:
At approximately midnight on June 29-30, 2025, an attempted murder occurred in the vicinity of PS Raj Park, where two brothers, Sourav and Gaurav, were attacked by three assailants. One of the attackers was armed with a knife. The assailants beat the victims brutally and inflicted sharp knife wounds, leaving the victims with serious injuries. The attackers fled the scene immediately after the assault.
A case was registered at PS Raj Park (Outer Delhi) following a statement from the complainant, Gaurav.
Arrest and Investigation:
The ISC Crime Branch, led by Inspector Satender Poonia, was swiftly mobilized to apprehend the absconding criminals, Akash @ Gaurav @ Gori and Akhil @ Nonu, who were identified as the prime suspects in the case. The criminals had gone into hiding after the incident, attempting to evade arrest.
On June 30, 2025, a breakthrough came when HC Ravinder Rana of ISC Crime Branch received a tip-off about the accused. A dedicated team comprising SIs Mukesh, Sanjay Kanojia, ASI Vinay Singh, and HC Ashish, under the supervision of Inspector Satender Poonia and the overall guidance of ACP Ramesh Chandra Lamba, swiftly executed the operation.
Akash @ Gaurav @ Gori was arrested from Nangli Sakrawati, Delhi, while Akhil @ Nonu was apprehended from Surya Enclave, Rohini, Delhi.
Interrogation and Disclosure:
During interrogation, both accused revealed that they, along with their associate Sahil @ Monty, carried out the brutal attack on the two brothers. One of the attackers was armed with a knife, and they beat up and injured the victims before fleeing the scene. The attackers went into hiding to avoid arrest.

• Akash @ Gaurav @ Gori (24)
Resident of Mangolpuri, Delhi, Akash had studied up to the 9th grade. He comes from a modest background. He became involved with a criminal gang and participated in the violent attack on the victims.
• Akhil @ Nonu (24)
Resident of Surya Enclave, Rohini, Delhi, Akhil had studied up to the 9th grade. He too comes from a humble background. He has an extensive criminal record, with multiple FIRs lodged against him, including:
