⭕ *01 ARMED OFFENDER ARRESTED WITH RECOVERY OF ILLEGAL FIREARM & CARTRIDGES, BY THE TEAM OF ANTI-PO/JAIL BAIL CELL, DWARKA DISTRICT.*

🔰 01 COUNTRY MADE PISTOL, 02 LIVE CARTRIDGES & 01 PAPER CUTTER USED FOR THEFT, RECOVERED.

🔰 FURTHERING THE MISSION - *'NO GUNS NO GANGS'*,  VALIANT COPS AGAIN STRIKE HARD.

Pinning down such criminals, averting untoward incidents, allowing no illegal guns - with this mandate, *Sh. Ankit Singh, IPS - DCP Dwarka District* had flagged off the Operation - *“No Guns, No Gangs”.* We are realising the aim with utmost dedication.

In line with the same, this swift and well-coordinated operation by Anti-PO & Jail Bail Cell of Dwarka, led to the arrest of an armed individual and recovery of illegal weapon. Such recoveries will continue to be pursued with zero tolerance under targeted operations.

🟡 *INFORMATION TEAM & OPERATION:-*

Acting on specific input received by HC Kulwant Singh (681/DW) on 26.06.2025, a dedicated team led by Insp. Manish Yadav & operating under the supervision of ACP Sh. Ram Avatar - (Ops, Dwarka), was promptly mobilized to track down the suspect.

The team comprising SI Lal Chand (1959/DW), HC Kulwant, HC Mahesh Dagar (1712/DW), HC Pradeep (2088/DW), Ct. Jaideep (1935/DW) & Ct. Ankur (1276/DW) successfully apprehended *Anshu alias Nishu,* R/o Kali Basti, Uttam Nagar, aged 34 years.

On search, the accused was found in possession of 01 country made pistol, 02 live cartridges, 01 paper cutter (used to slash bags and commit theft).

Accordingly, a case vide *FIR No. 279/25, Dt. 26.06.2025, u/s 25 Arms Act,* was registered at PS Uttam Nagar and investigation is underway.

During preliminary questioning, the accused revealed that he had resorted to criminal activities owing to financial distress.

- *Anshu alias Nishu,* R/o Kali Basti, Uttam Nagar, aged 34 years.

- One country-made pistol.
- Two live cartridges.
