    ACTIVE BC OF PS BADARPUR BUSTED WITH A HUGE CONSIGMENT OF STOLEN MOBILE PHONES, 82 STOLEN PHONES AND AN ILLEGAL PISTOL RECOVERED, ONE ACCOMPLICE ALSO GOT ARRESTED

The staff of PS Badarpurof South East Distthasarrestedone BCRamesh @ Lallu.With his arrest, 82 mobile phones, onecountry made pistol and two live cartridges havebeen recovered fromhis possession. In addition, seven caseshave also been worked out. On the instance of Ramesh @ Lallu, his accomplice Dev S/o Parvinder R/o H. No. 2065, Phase-I, Age-20 years was also arrested.

INCIDENT, TEAM & INVESTIGATION:-
On 25.06.25,HC Sumit, HC Laxmi Narayan, Ct Pawan and Ct Vinitunder the supervision of SHO/Badarpurwerepatrolling in police station area. During patrolling, they received a secret tip that a person carrying a huge consignment of stolen mobile phones was going towards NTPC Railway line, Lohiya Pul, Aali Village. It was also conveyed that the person was also in possession of an illegal firearm. The team at once marched towards that location. There, the team noticed a person who was in possession of a blue-coloured bag. The police staff asked him to stop but he tried to escape from the spot. The police team meticulously chased and overpowered him after sincere efforts. On frisking,hewas found carrying a country made pistol and two live cartridges. On checking his bag, total 82 mobile phones were recovered. On enquiry, he was identified as Ramesh @ Lallu s/o Chattarpal R/o Gautampuri, Badarpur Delhi age 39 yrs. Accordingly, a case FIR No. 284/25 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act and 317(2) BNS was registered at PS Badarpur.On the instance of Ramesh @ Lallu, his accomplice Dev S/o Parvinder R/o H. No. 2065, Phase-I, Age-20 years was also arrested on Dt. 27/06/25.Third accused has also been identified and sincere efforts are being made to arrest him.
Further investigation of the case is under progress.

INTERROGATION:- 
  On sustained interrogation, accusedRamesh @ Lalludisclosed that hehas been stealing mobile phones from passengers travelling in public vehicles since long, with the help of his two mates. He further disclosed that one of his mates had given that bag containing mobile phones to him to deliver to his other mate.When they collected 400-500 stolen mobile phones, then they used to send those mobile phones to Nepal and Bangladesh for selling. He was also provided with that firearm by his mate.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON :-

1.    Accused Lallu s/o Chattarpal R/o Gautampuri, Badarpur Delhi age 39 yrs is a hardcore criminal and an active BC of PS Badarpur.He is previously involved in 11criminal cases.
2.    Dev S/o Parvinder R/o H. No. 2065, Phase-I, Age-20 years. His Previous involvement is NIL.
