On 26.06.2025, a comprehensive drug awareness program ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan’ (NMBA) was organized by North-East District at the  Milkha Mini Stadium, Welcome. During the event following activities were conducted:
1. Nukkad Natak and Magician Show: In co-ordination with Deep Seva NGO, the performances were aimed at engaging the audience, especially the youth, and conveying the message of saying no to drugs in an entertaining and impactful way.
2. Session on Effects of Drug Consumption: The staff from IHBAS Hospital provided valuable insights into the effects, symptoms, and problems associated with drug consumption, helping attendees understand the risks and consequences.
3. Delhi Police Band Performance: The police band added a touch of entertainment and community engagement to the event, highlighting the collaborative effort between law enforcement and the community in promoting a drug-free society.
4. Information on MANAS Portal: Sharing information about the MANAS Portal, a national toll-free helpline 1933 for drug abuse victims and their families, provided attendees with a valuable resource for seeking help and support.
The event was a significant step in promoting awareness about substance abuse and encouraging individuals to seek help when needed. By engaging the community through various activities, the program aimed to create a lasting impact and contribute to the overall goal of a drug-free society.
