🔹️ *01  STOLEN GOLD MANGALSUTRA RECOVERED AND SEIZED*

🔹️ *01 CASE WORKED OUT WITH HIS ARREST*

🚨 *POLICE STATION: NANGLOI* 🚨

In accordance with the directions issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Outer District, all field staff have been thoroughly briefed and sensitized to maintain vigilance across their respective areas of responsibility. Emphasis has been laid on proactive policing measures to ensure the maintenance of law and order, as well as to safeguard the safety and security of citizens within the jurisdiction of the Outer District.

▶️ *OPERATION AND INTERROGATION:*

On 25th June 2025, during a routine patrol, Head Constable Naveen and Head Constable Ishwar of Police Station Nangloi reached the vicinity of Surajmal Stadium, where they received secret information about a person in possession of stolen jewellery near Rail Neer, Nangloi.

Acting swiftly on the input, the team conducted a raid at the specified location and noticed a suspicious individual. Upon spotting the police personnel, the suspect attempted to flee, but the vigilant staff immediately initiated a pursuit and successfully apprehended him on the spot.

Upon preliminary interrogation, the suspect was identified as Dharmsi. A cursory search led to the recovery of a gold mangalsutra in his possession.

When questioned about the jewellery, the accused confessed that he, along with his associates had committed a theft in the Nangloi area a day ago. Upon verification, the recovered gold mangalsutra was found to be linked to e-FIR No. 80059944/25, registered under Sections 303(2)/317(2)/3(5) of the BNS at Police Station Nangloi.

The accused was arrested and the stolen item was seized in connection with the case. Further investigation is underway to trace his accomplices and recover the remaining stolen property.
