✳️ *ONE ILLEGAL BANGLADESHI MIGRANT DETAINED BY THE TEAM OF AATS, SOUTH WEST DISTRICT.*

✳️ *HE WAS LIVING ILLEGALLY IN INDIA SINCE 15 YEARS.*

✳️ *FRESH DEPORTATION PROCESS INITIATED WITH THE HELP OF FRRO, DELHI AFTER COMPLETING ALL CODAL FORMALITIES*

   The team of AATS, South West District has done commendable work by tracing/apprehending one Bangladeshi national residing illegally in Delhi, namely *Ohid R/o Brahmin Chiran, PO-Wari, Jatrabari, Dhaka, Bangladesh.* Fresh deportation process was initiated with the help of FRRO, Delhi after completing all codal formalities.

*INFORMATION & OPERATION:*
       To prevent crime and monitor foreigners residing illegally in the jurisdiction of South West District, a dedicated team of AATS/SWD was directed to gather intelligence and take strict action against illegal migrants. Accrodingly, a dedicated team comprising ASI Vinod Kumar, HC Mohit, HC Narender and HC Hariom was constituted under the leadership of Insp. Ram Kumar, I/C AATS/SWD & under the supervision of Sh. Vijay Kumar, ACP/Operations, South West District. The team was briefed for vigil patrols, ensuring effective vigilance and proactive measures against illegal activities.

      On 24.06.2025, the team received a piece of secret information that an illegal Bangladeshi national is roaming in Vasant Kunj area. Acting swiftly on the secret information, the team approached the suspect person, asked his identification documents, and conducted an enquiry thoroughly. The individual initially showed his Aadhar Card and Driving License for his Indian identity as Mohd Rohit Sekh R/o Barachand Ghar Uttar Para, District Nadia, West Bengal. But on sustained interrogation, he admitted to be an illegal Bangladeshi migrant who had entered India approximately 15 years ago by illegal means by crossing the Border with the help of an unknown person. The Bangladeshi National Mohd Rohit Sekh was detained in PS Vasant Kunj South, South West District. During enquiry, copy of his Bangladeshi National ID Card on the name of Ohid R/o Brahmin Chiran, PO-Wari, Jatrabari, Dhaka, Bangladesh and copy of his Passport of Bangladesh have been recovered. After thorough verification and enquiry, the necessary legal formalities were completed, leading to initiation of his deportation through the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO).

*PROFILE OF ILLEGAL MIGRANT:*
      Accused Ohid R/o Brahmin Chiran, PO-Wari, Jatrabari, Dhaka, Bangladesh was illegally living in India since 15 years after changing his name.

     This successful operation highlights the South West District Police's zero-tolerance approach toward illegal immigration and their commitment to enforcing the rule of law.
