Responsibility of departmental inquiry handed over to IAS
Responsibility of departmental inquiry handed over to IAS accused of bribery:
After a long wait, the government transferred 62 IAS officers. The most shocking name in this transfer list is that of Hanuman Mal Dhaka (IAS). Last year, Dhaka was accused of demanding a bribe of Rs 25 lakh in exchange for land conversion. The ACB had registered a case against him and also raided the Dudu Collector's office.
The government had APOed IAS Dhaka on 27 April 2024. Now the government has entrusted him with the responsibility of departmental inquiry. He has been posted as Director, Departmental Investigation. In this transfer list, a tradition that has been going on for years has also been broken.
