    RELENTLESS ON-GROUND EFFORTS AND DEVELOPMENT OF INTELLIGENCE LEADS TO APPREHENSION OF FUGITIVES FROM MORADABAD, U.P.
    ACCUSED PERSONS WERE PRIME OFFENDERS IN A BRUTAL MURDER OF A PERSON BY STABBING.

A team of NR-II Crime Branch arrested two accused persons namely Vishal (age 22) s/o Raju r/o E-1181, Jahangir Puri, Delhi and Kuldeep @ Tannu (age 31) s/o Sarvesh r/o G-546, Jahangir Puri, Delhi, wanted in a brutal murder case in which a boy named Bobby Singh @ Piyush was stabbed to death by 05 persons including the arrested accused persons. 
BRIEF OF CASE:
On 17.06.2025, at about 6:30-7:00 PM, one Bobby Singh @ Piyush, 18 years r/o Jahangir Puri, Delhi got admitted by his friends in BJRM Hospital, Jahangir Puri, Delhi and he was declared dead during treatment by the doctors. The deceased had sustained stab injuries near upper thighs and on other parts of the body. The incident was registered vide case FIR No. 644/2025 dated 18.06.2025 u/s 103(1)/3(5) BNS PS Jahangir Puri and investigation was taken up by the local police. 
It came to light that neighbors namely Kishan, Sannata @ Yashu, Suresh Kumar @ Appu, Kuldeep @ Tannu and Vishal had dispute with the deceased and Vishal along-with his other associates including presently arrested Kuldeep @ Tannu beat the boy mercilessly and stabbed him to death.
INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION:
The above said incident had profoundly disturbed the community, instilling widespread fear. Therefore, swift apprehension of all the accused persons was imperative to reassert the rule of law and restore public confidence. In view of the same, teams of NR-II, Crime Branch, Sector 18, Rohini were specifically tasked to arrest all the accused persons in the above murder. 
In furtherance of the same, a team comprising of SI Pankaj Saroha, SI Pardeep Dahiya, SI Sukhvinder, ASI Sunil, HC Naval, HC Nitin, HC Ajay, HC Sumit, HC Raj Aryan and Ct Yogender led by Inspr. Sandeep Swami under the supervision of ACP Narender Beniwal was constituted by DCP Sh. Harsh Indora, IPS to work upon the present case.
Meanwhile, HC Nitin Kumar and HC Naval worked tirelessly on the ground and developed human intelligence. Activities of all the friends and relatives of the accused were monitored covertly. Ultimately persistence paid off when sustained and coordinated efforts, including careful analysis of technical inputs and on-ground intelligence gathering resulted in zeroing down the presence of both the accused persons in Moradabad, UP. 
A raiding party was swiftly constituted and a raid was conducted at Moradabad, UP and the team laid a trap near Maharani Guest house, Arya Nagar, Budh Bazar, Moradabad, UP and nabbed the accused Kuldeep @ Tannu and Vishal. On sustained interrogation, they confessed about their involvement in the aforesaid case of murder and thus were arrested vide Kalandra u/s 35.1 (C) BNSS.
INTERROGATION:
Accused Kuldeep @ Tannu and Vishal disclosed that they along with their three associates had a dispute with the deceased Bobby Singh @ Piyush over speeding scooty in narrow streets. On the day of incident, they along with his associates namely Kishan, Sannata @ Yashu, Suresh Kumar @ Appu had gathered to resolve the issue with the deceased. But, verbal altercation started between them leading to a scuffle. 
Amidst the quarrel accused deceased first slapped Kishan and then all the accused persons started beating him. Meanwhile, Vishal and Sannata @ Yashu took out a knife and stabbed the deceased. After that all of them ran away from the spot.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON:
1.    Accused Vishal studied up to 8th standard. But due to poor financial condition of the family he left education and started doing petty jobs such as cctv technician. In the 2021, he was apprehended as a CCL in an attempt to murder case. Since then, he fell in bad company, and started staying in touch with local criminals. In furtherance of the same he got involved in the present case. 
2.    Accused Kuldeep @ Tannu studied up to 10th standard. But due to poor financial condition of the family he left education and started working as a CCTV installation technician in Delhi as well as in Moradabad. Other co-accused persons were his neighbors and he developed the habit of drinking and through this bad habit he started staying in touch with local criminals. In furtherance of the same he got involved in the present case.
