The Uttar Pradesh government has promoted 4 senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers from Principal Secretary to the post of Additional Chief Secretary (ACS). This promotion has been done with the pay scale prescribed under Pay Matrix Level 17.The promoted officers include L Venkateshwar Lu, BL Meena, Narendra Bhushan and Anurag Srivastava. The promotion has been done in recognition of the outstanding contribution and experience of these officers in the state administration.
L Venkateshwar Lu has proved his efficiency in important departments. Especially in rural development and technological innovation. BL Meena has played an important role in promoting policy reforms in the field of agriculture and rural development.Narendra Bhushan has demonstrated his expertise in urban development and infrastructure projects, while Anurag Srivastava is known for administrative reforms and effective implementation of public welfare schemes.According to the order issued by the Department of Personnel and Appointment, with promotion, these officers will now be entrusted with more responsibilities, which will be important in taking the development and administrative efficiency of Uttar Pradesh to new heights.The government has described this move as an important initiative towards strengthening the administrative structure of the state.
