🔹️ *SPECIAL STAFF OF OUTER DISTRICT CRACKDOWN ON ILLICIT LIQUOR*

🔹️ *01 BOOTLEGGER ARRESTED UNDER THE DELHI EXCISE ACT*

🔹️ *TOTAL 40 CARTONS (2000 QUARTERS) OF ILLICIT LIQUOR ‘FOR SALE IN HARYANA ONLY’ RECOVERED AND SEIZED*

🔹️ *01 CAR USED IN THE TRANSPORTATION OF ILLICIT LIQUOR ALSO RECOVERED AND SEIZED*

🚨 *POLICE STATION: SPECIAL STAFF, OUTER DISTRICT* 🚨

In accordance with the directions from Deputy Commissioner of Police, Outer District, a dedicated team from Special Staff comprising SI Vipin Kumar, ASI Pradeep, HC Upender, HC Vikas, HC Amit and HC Vijay led by Inspr. Rohit under the close supervision of Sh. Narender Khatri, ACP/Operations was formed and deployed to curb the sale and possession of illicit liquor in the district.

▶️ *OPERATION AND INTERROGATION:*

During patrolling, when the Special Staff team of Outer District reached near Canara Bank on Outer Ring Road , the team noticed an i20 car parked in a suspicious manner. As the team approached the vehicle, the driver attempted to flee. However, the alert and vigilant staff swiftly apprehended the accused, later identified as Anshu.

Upon inspection of the vehicle, 40 cartons containing a total of 2,000 quarters of illicit liquor were recovered. The liquor was labelled "For Sale in Haryana Only."

Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 214/2025 under Sections 33/38/58 of the Delhi Excise Act has been registered at PS Paschim Vihar East.

The accused was arrested in the case. The recovered illicit liquor, along with the vehicle used for transportation, has been seized in connection with the investigation.

(1) Anshu R/o Sonipat, Haryana, Age- 22 Years

 
⏭️ *RECOVERY:*

•    2000 quarters (40 cartons) of illicit liquor (for sale in Haryana only)

•    01 Car used in transportation of the illicit liquor

Further investigation is in progress to trace the source of the illicit liquor and identify other individuals involved in the supply network.
