🚨 *POLICE STATION: NIHAL VIHAR* 🚨

▶️ *BRIEF FACTS OF THE CASE:*

On 22.06.2025, a complaint was received wherein the complainant alleged that after finishing his work, he was on his way to his home with his friend. When they reached in front of Gupta Tea Stall, Naresh Park, Nangloi, two unknown boys on a motorcycle approached them, snatched his mobile phone and fled from the scene.

The complainant chased after them. As the motorcycle reached the corner of the street, it lost balance and both riders fell down. The pillion rider, who had the snatched mobile phone, got up and ran away from the spot. However, the motorcycle rider was apprehended on the spot, identified as Sumit and the motorcycle used in the offence was also recovered from the scene.

Consequently, a case FIR No. 447/25 under sections 304(2)/3(5) of the BNS was registered at PS Nihal Vihar.

⏩️ *TEAM CONSTITUTION:*

A dedicated team, comprising SI Neeraj, PSI PSI Mohit, HC Dharampal, and Ct. Sanjeet led by Inspr. Shispal, SHO/Nihal Vihar under the close supervision of Sh. Patil Swagat Rajkumar, ACP/Paschim Vihar was constituted.

▶️⏩️ *OPERATION AND INTERROGATION:*

During the course of the investigation to trace the accomplice of Sumit, the team continued its efforts. Sumit was taken on one day police custody remand, during which he disclosed the identity of his friend as Raj Singh and also revealed his whereabouts. Simultaneously, the team activated its network of secret informers.

Subsequently, the team received information about the presence of the accused in DDA Park, Nihal Vihar. Acting on this input, the team conducted a raid at the specified location and spotted a person matching the given description. The team successfully apprehended him.

During interrogation, the accused admitted to his involvement in the crime. Upon his cursory search, the team recovered the snatched mobile phone.

Both, the accused were arrested in connection with the case and the recovered item was duly seized.

2.     Sumit R/o Nihal Vihar, Delhi, Age 22 years (previously involved in 05 other cases)
