*Two notorious armed robbers arrested after brief chase by team of PS Nand Nagri.*

*One desi katta along with two live cartridges and a stolen motorcycle recovered from their possession.*

On 23.06.25, at about 08:15 PM a police team comprising of Cts. Paramjit and Jitender under the supervision of Inspr. Anand yadav, SHO/PS Nand Nagri, while patrolling the Tahirpur area on their motorcycle, noticed two persons moving  suspiciously on a black Yamaha motorcycle. Recollecting a recent chain snatching incidence on the same type of motorcycle in area, the police team got suspicious and signaled them to stop. Instead of stopping, the duo sped-off towards Pilli mitti park but the alert team, chased and intercepted them within a short distance. During their search, one desi katta alongwith two live cartridges were recovered.

Both were identified as Mohd Danish S/o Mohd Hanif R/o Gali Kashmiriyaan, Sitaram Bazar Delhi, age- 32 yrs and Shoaib @ Imran S/o Yakub r/o Gali no 2, Noor-e- illahi, Bhajanpura,Delhi age- 32 yrs.

On detailed verification, the motorcycle they were plying was also found stolen from the area of PS Geeta colony vide e-FIR No. 15466 dated 03/06/25.

Accordingly, a case u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act is registered at PS Nand Nagri and investigation was taken up.

During investigation, they admitted for their involvements in a snatching case in the area of PS Nand Nagri. On their sustained interrogation accused Mohd Danish was previously found involved in 17 cases including robbery, snatching and burglary however accused Shoaib @ Imran was previously found involved in 05 cases of snatching and theft.

Their involvements in other cases are being traced. Further investigation in the case is on-going.
