*Notorious Snatcher Duo Nabbed After Dramatic 10 KM Chase in Shahdara – 2 Cases Solved, Stolen Bike & Snatched Phone* *Recovered!* 
    Keeping in view of recent incidents of two wheelers theft in the area of Shahdara District, the team of AATS/Shahdara District was directed to visit the place of incidents of theft and analyses the CCTV cameras to identify and nab the suspects, who are actively doing two wheelers theft.  
*INCIDENT:-*
A dedicated team comprising of HC Umesh, HC Kuldeep, Ct Ajay led by SI Vikrant Choudhary I/C AATS/Shahdara and under the close supervision of Sh. Gurudev Singh, ACP/Operations/Shahdara was constituted and the Task was assigned to the team to track and nab the auto lifter & other criminals active in the area of Shahdara District. Team was deployed in civil clothes in district area to collect the local intelligence. On 23.06.2025 while above mentioned team was on patrolling near KKD Court and they found that two persons were wandering near KKD court and Cross river mall on a Hero Splendor motor cycle No DL1SU3259 and both were looking suspicious. While chasing them, it was found that both suspected persons snatched a mobile phone from a person on foot from Cross River Mall after seeing this team chased alleged persons and try to stop them but they run away towards Vishwas Nagar Shahdara. After a long chase of about 10 Km team overpowered them along with Hero Splendor motor cycle No DL1SU3259.  Upon checking the recovered motor cycle was found stolen in Case e-FIR No 015250/25 dated 01/06/2025 u/s 305(b) BNS, PS New Usmanpur, North East Delhi. Upon inquiry their name and address are found 1. Altaf @ Farman s/o Anwar R/o Gali No-18, Javed ka makan, Vijay Mohalla, Moujpur, Delhi Age-22 Years 2. Faizan @ Salman s/o Late Hasnain R/o Gali No-1, Rasheed ka makan, Brahampuri, Delhi Age-22 Years. During search of accused persons one snatched mobile phone Make Realme, Black Color IMEI No 862166064390897, 862166064390889 was recovered from the possession of accused person. They disclosed that the above mentioned mobile phone was snatched by them near Cross River Mall, Anand Vihar Delhi. In this regard a case vide FIR No 300/25 dated 23/06/2025 u/s 304((2)/3(5) BNS, PS Anand Vihar was registered.

*INVESTIGATION:-*
During course of investigation, accused Altaf @ Farman & Faizan @ Salman have been arrested in case FIR No 300/25 dated 23/06/2025 u/s 304((2)/3(5) BNS, PS Anand Vihar, District Shahdara and the recovered stolen Hero Splendor motor cycle No DL1SU3259 & snatched Realme Mobile phone Black color have been taken into police possession through seizure memo. 
*INTERROGATION:-*
On sustain interrogation, accused Altaf @ Farman & Faizan @ Salman mentioned above disclosed that accused Altaf @ farman is resident of Gali No-18, Javed ka makan, Vijay Mohalla, Moujpur, Delhi. He is working AC repair work with his brother. He is addict of smack and alchole. He started snatching of mobile phones to earn easy money to full fill his basic needs. Accused Faizan is resident of Gali No-1, Rasheed ka makan, Brahampuri, Delhi. After death of his father he left the house and started to consume smack and alcohol. He is illiterate and not doing any work. Before 3 three years back he met with Altaf and started to snatch the mobile phones with Altaf to earn easy money to full fill his basic needs.

*RECOVERY:-*
1. One stolen Hero Splendor Motor Cycle No DL1SU3259    
2. One Snatched mobile phone make Realme Black color

1. Case e-FIR No 015250/25 dated 01/06/2025 u/s 305(b) BNS, PS New Usmanpur, North East Delhi.
2. Case FIR No 300/25 dated 23/06/2025 u/s 304(2)/3(5) PS Anand Vihar, District Shahdara 
PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS: -

    On sustain interrogation, accused Altaf @ Farman & Faizan @ Salman mentioned above disclosed that accused Altaf @ farman is resident of Gali No-18, Javed ka makan, Vijay Mohalla, Moujpur, Delhi. His father is running a shop at Vijay Mohalla Moujpur and he is working AC repair work with his brother. He is addict of smack and alcohol. He started snatching of mobile phones to earn easy money to full fill his basic needs.
    On sustain interrogation of accused Faizan is resident of Gali No-1, Rasheed ka makan, Brahampuri, Delhi. After death of his father he left the house and started to consume smack and alcohol. He is illiterate and not doing any work. Before 3 three years back he met with Altaf and started to snatch the mobile phones with Altaf to earn easy money to full fill his basic needs.
•    Accused Altaf @ Farman is previously involved in 06 cases of snatching/theft.  
•    Accused Faizan @ Salman is previously involved in 09 cases of snatching/theft.
Further efforts are being made for more recovery.
