
CYBER-ENABLED JOB FRAUD CALL CENTER BUSTED BY CYBER POLICE

• FAKE JOB SCAM: CYBER SHAHDARA POLICE UNCOVER ₹9,000 JOB FRAUD, APPREHEND ACCUSED.
• JOB SEEKERS BEWARE: DELHI POLICE EXPOSE FAKE RECRUITMENT AGENCY "TREASURE FIND SOLUTION.
INCIDENT:-
A 19-year-old r/o Bhola Nath Nagar, Shahdara, Delhi, fell victim to a cyber-enabled job fraud after encountering a misleading advertisement on YouTube for a job search app named "JOB HAI." Upon downloading the app, the complainant applied for a cashier position and was subsequently contacted via WhatsApp by a person identifying himself as HR Kamal (Contact No. 931140**). He was invited for a walk-in interview on 27.05.2025, near Metro Pillar No. 54, Laxmi Nagar, Nirman Vihar, Delhi. After the interaction, the fraudster assured him of a job at Zepto and began demanding money on various pretexts, such as registration, document verification, agreement fee, TDS, and final processing charges. Between May 27 and June 6, 2025, the victim transferred over ₹9,000 via PhonePe to QR codes shared by the fraudster. Upon refusing further payments, the victim was blocked, and no job or refund was provided. The fraudsters posed as representatives of a fictitious recruitment agency named "Treasure Find Solution." Accordingly, FIR No. 50/25, U/S 318(4)/61(2) BNS, was registered at PS Cyber Shahdara on 19.06.2025, and an investigation was launched.
INVESTIGATION:-
A special team comprising SI Ritu Dangi, ASI Rahul Choudhary, HC Harender, HC Rajni, and Ct Amit was formed under the supervision of SHO/Cyber Shahdara Insp Vijay Kumar and overall guidance of ACP/Operations Gurdev Singh. Through technical surveillance and diligent efforts, the following findings emerged:
Bank Account Details Used in Fraud:
Ratnakar Bank A/C No. 30902800**** belonging to Shivam R/o Shyam Colony, Budh Vihar Phase 2, Delhi.
India Post Payments Bank A/C No. 03841017**** belonging to Abhishek Tiwari R/o Police Colony, New Delhi.
Mobile Forensics & Location Tracking:
After analyzation of CDR of Mobile No. 783483****, it is found that this mobile no. was active in an iPhone 12 since October 2024.
Another number, 951844****, previously used in the same device, was traced to Rahul R/o Bahadurgarh, Haryana.
Rahul and his wife r/o Adhyapak Nagar, Nilothi, Delhi, had rented a property in Nirman Vihar under the guise of running a recruitment office. Based on live location tracking and technical surveillance, multiple raids were conducted in Noida (Sector 63 and Sector 38). Abhishek Tiwari was traced to Kunda, Prayagraj, while Rahul was tracked down to Bahadurgarh. A notice under Section 35(3) BNS was served to accused Rahul. During questioning, he remained non-cooperative and attempted to conceal key facts. It was revealed that Rahul and his wife, Seema, operated Treasure Find Solution without any legal documentation and had been involved in running fraudulent recruitment drives since 2011. The accused used multiple mobile numbers, including 783483**, which appeared on documents sent to victims. His wife was found to be complicit, with digital evidence linking her to other co-accused. After identifying the location mentioned by the victim - Building No. 8, above the VIP Showroom in Nirman Vihar, Delhi - it was found that they had closed the office three or four days prior. The team visited the Nirman Vihar office along with accused Rahul, where approximately 100 resumes of candidates, copies and original Aadhaar cards of candidates, Treasure Find Solution agreement papers, and a Treasure Find Solutions stamp were recovered. Complaints from other states and districts with similar modus operandi are under review. Accused Rahul has been arrested. The wife of accused Rahul has switched off her mobile phone and remains at large. Further investigation is underway to identify and apprehend the remaining members of the network.

MOTIVE OF THE ACCUSED:-
Preliminary interrogation suggests that the accused was motivated by quick financial gain through fraudulent recruitment practices targeting job seekers in distress.
RECOVERY:-
1. Mobile phone of accused containing various details regarding his recruitment work.
2. Approx. 100 Resumes of candidates were recovered from accused Rahul’s Nirman vihar Treasure Find Solution Office.
3. Stamp of Treasure Find Solution also recovered and documents related to service agreement of the same recovered.

Shahdara Delhi Police urges all citizens to remain vigilant against online job frauds. Always verify the authenticity of job offers, recruitment agencies, and payment demands.
