✳️ *ONE THIEF/BURGLAR ARRESTED BY STAFF OF PP SUBROTO PARK, PS DELHI CANTT/SWD*

✳️ *ONE STOLEN MOBILE PHONE RECOVERED FROM HIS POSSESSION*

       The staff of PP Subroto Park, PS Delhi Cantt, South-West District has arrested a thief namely *Vinay Bharti R/o Azadpur, Delhi, Age 47 years.* With his arrest, one stolen mobile phone was recovered from his possession.

*INCIDENT, TEAM & OPERATION:*
       On 20.06.2025, Shri Ram Bharoshe R/o Trilokpuri, New Delhi  lodged a complaint alleging that while returning from Khatu Shyam, Rajasthan, he deboarded at Dhaula Kuan Bus Stand and took a local bus towards Trilokpuri. During this journey, his mobile phone was stolen by an unknown person from his pocket. Accordingly, an case vide E-FIR No. 80058913/2025 u/s 303(2) BNS was registered at PS Delhi cantt & investigation was taken up.

      To curb incidents of theft and pickpocketing, a dedicated team under the leadership of SI Ajeet Singh, I/C PP Subroto Park, comprising HC Birender, HC Hansraj and HC Jitender was constituted under the supervision of Insp. Shyoram Yadav, SHO/Delhi Cantt and overall guidance of Sh. Anil Sharma, ACP/Sub-division Delhi Cantt. While patrolling in the area of Dhaula Kuan based on a secret input, HC Jitender and HC Birender noticed a suspicious individual at DDA Park, Delhi Cantt, who attempted to evade them. Upon interception and search, a mobile phone was recovered from his possession. The individual failed to provide a satisfactory explanation regarding the ownership of the mobile phone. Upon verification, it was found to be the same mobile phone was reported stolen in E-FIR No. 80058913/2025 registered at PS Delhi Cantt. Accordingly, case property i.e. stolen Oppo mobile phone was seized in the case & accused namely Vinay Bharti R/o Azadpur, Delhi, Age 47 years was arrested in the case.

*PROFILE OF ACCUSED ARRESTED:*
      Accused Vinay Bharti R/o Azadpur, Delhi, Age 47 years is permanent resident of Village Beladar, PS Gonah, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. Currently homeless in Delhi. He is addicted to alcohol, Smack and ganja. The accused disclosed that he travels from his native village to Delhi and targets crowded buses for pickpocketing. He usually stole money from the pockets of passengers and spent it to satisfy his desires, such as indulging in abusive habits. Currently, he denied knowledge of his former associate, Umesh, who was previously arrested by PS Model Town. He has a prior criminal history with involvement in two previous cases of Arms Act & theft. The said mobile phone was stolen from the bus, and he was waiting to sell it in DDA Park.

*RECOVERY:*
1. One stolen mobile phone.

1. E-FIR No. 80058913/2025 u/s 303(2) BNS, PS Delhi Cantt, Delhi.

   Further investigation is under progress.
