In a continued effort to safeguard women in public spaces, the Anti-Eve-Teasing Team of Outer District, known as the Shishtachar Squad, launched an awareness initiative at Shakurbasti Railway Station.

The squad interacted with passengers, handed out informative pamphlets, and spoke about the importance of standing against harassment such as eve-teasing and inappropriate behavior. The drive focused on empowering women to speak up and encouraged the public to adopt a zero-tolerance approach toward such misconduct.

Officials emphasized the legal protections available to women, shared emergency contact numbers, and informed commuters about support resources. The activity also involved coordination with local police units to strengthen surveillance and preventive actions in vulnerable areas.

Local commuters and bystanders appreciated the effort, noting the need for regular engagement to build safer and more respectful surroundings for all.

This initiative reflects the Shishtachar Squad’s commitment to public awareness and community cooperation in making Delhi’s public spaces safer for women.
