✳️ *THEY USED HOTELS FOR THEIR ILLEGAL STAY IN DELHI*
The vigilant team of Operations Cell, South West District has identified and detained 04 Bangladeshi Nationals residing illegally in Delhi, namely *1. Md Rohan* R/o Munshiganj, Dhaka, Bangladesh, Age 21 years, *2. Suhel Ahmad* R/o Shekhpur, Mirganj, Goplaganj Bazar, Bangladesh, Age 31 years, *3. Md Jubraj* R/o Munshiganj, Kharra, Bangladesh, Age 37 years & *4. Abu Kaes* R/o South Ramarkanda, Keranigong, Dhaka, Bangladesh, Age 32 years. They have been deported to Bangladesh through FRRO, Delhi.
*TEAM & OPERATION:*
To address rising concerns over the unauthorized stay of Bangladeshi nationals in the capital, the South West District Police has intensified efforts to identify, detain and repatriate individuals residing in Delhi without valid Indian documents. A series of targeted operations and joint inspections have been carried out across the South West District. Special teams comprising officers from local police stations as well as special units have been deployed to conduct thorough searches, focusing on areas of vulnerable populations and gather intelligence to locate undocumented Bangladeshi immigrants.
As part of these efforts, a dedicated team led by Insp. Hari Singh, I/C Anti Snatching Cell, comprising of SI Kamal Kant, HC Narender, HC Rajkumar, HC Shish Ram, HC Dilip, HC Mukesh, HC Anil, Ct. Bablu & Ct. Sunny was constituted under the supervision of Sh. Vijay Singh, ACP/Operations/SWD & started a drive for verification of illegal migrants. The operation involved detailed planning, intelligence gathering, and swift action. Acting on credible information about some illegal migrant overstaying their visa and roaming in the Mahipalpur area, the team detained four individuals who were found to be Bangladeshi nationals with expired visa. On interrogation, they revealed that they took visa for India for their medical treatment and obtaining Visa of Portugal. During their stay in Delhi, they stayed in several hotels. After thorough verification and interrogation, the necessary legal formalities were completed, resulting in their deportation through the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO).

This initiative underscores the South West District Police's zero-tolerance approach to illegal immigration and commitment to upholding the rule of law. Such diligent efforts not only contribute to public safety but also reinforce the trust of the community in law enforcement.
Further efforts are being made to identify more illegal migrants.
