ONE SNATCHER ARRESTED – A KNOWN HISTORY SHEETER ARRESTED FOR HIS INVOLVEMENT IN A CASE OF SNATCHING BY TEAM OF PS NABI KARIM, CENTRAL DISTRICT.

•    ACCUSED PERSONS WAS IDENTIFIED USING TECHNICAL ANALYSIS OF CCTV CAMERAS.
•    ACCUSED WAS TRAILED USING CCTV CAMERAS AND ARRESTED.
•    LOCAL & FIELD INTELLIGENCE HELPED IN TRACKING THE ACCUSED.
•    ACCUSED IS A HISTORY SHEETER OF PS NABI KARIM.

Brief details of the Incident: -
On 15.06.2025, an incident of mobile phone & Rs 1500/- snatching was reported at PS Nabi Karim. The complainant reported that at about 10:00 PM, while he was at Pul Paharganj, 3-4 unknown persons snatched his mobile phone and cash amounting to ₹1500/-. 
Based on his statement, a case vide FIR No. 275/2025, u/s 304(2)/3(5) of BNS was registered, and investigation was taken up.

Team & Operation: -     
    A dedicated team comprising SI Neeraj Rathi, HC Sitaram, HC Jagsoran, Ct. Anil was constituted under the leadership of SHO/Nabi Karim and overall supervision of Paharganj. 
During the course of investigation, CCTV footage from the vicinity of the crime scene was meticulously examined.

Based on the physical description and clothing details provided by the complainant, a suspect was observed in the CCTV footage near Kabir Hotel. Many CCTV cameras installed along Pul Paharganj, Railway Yard, Arakashan Road, and Qutub Road were thoroughly reviewed. Acting on the collected human intelligence and technical inputs, the accused was identified as Arun @ Nata and was apprehended from Kuda Khatta, Qutub Road, Nabi Karim, Delhi, and arrested in the present case.
