
Outer District’s Shistachar Squad Spreads Awareness at D-Block, Mangol Puri Bus Stand* 🚨

In a dedicated effort to make public spaces safer for women, the Anti Eve teasing Unit of Delhi Police Outer District; the Shistachar Squad conducted an impactful awareness drive at the D-Block Bus Stand in Mangol Puri.
The initiative aimed to educate the public about the serious concerns of eve-teasing, molestation and other forms of harassment that women frequently encounter in public areas. Through the distribution of informative pamphlets and interactive sessions with commuters, the squad emphasized the importance of respecting women’s dignity and upholding their right to safety.
The squad also engaged with local authorities to deliberate on effective preventive strategies and encouraged women to come forward and report incidents without fear or stigma. A significant part of the campaign focused on spreading awareness regarding legal safeguards, available support systems and key women safety helpline numbers.
This community-centered outreach received an encouraging response, with many locals expressing their support and appreciation for the initiative. The presence and proactive approach of the Shistachar Squad serve as a strong reminder that collective vigilance, awareness, and zero tolerance for harassment are crucial steps towards building a safer and more respectful society for women.
