*🚨POLICE STATION:  MANGOLPURI 🚨*

In accordance with the directions from DCP/OD, the field staff has been thoroughly briefed and instructed to remain highly vigilant in order to maintain law and order, ensuring the safety and security in the jurisdiction of Outer District.

*⏭️ OPERATION AND INTERROGATION:*

On May 29, 2025, while on patrol duty, Constable Bajrang of Police Station Mangolpuri received a tip-off regarding a female allegedly in possession of ganja. Acting promptly on the secret information, a raid was conducted at the specified location.

During the operation, Constable Bajrang alongwith woman staff observed a suspicious female carrying a white polythene bag. On noticing the presence of police personnel, the suspect attempted to hide. However, the alert police team, with the assistance of a female staff namely W/HC Pooja, swiftly apprehended her. She was later identified as 'M'.

Upon thorough search, the polythene bag was found to contain 427 grams of 'ganja', along with ₹1,470/- in cash.

In this regard, a case under Section 20(A) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985 was registered at Police Station Mangolpuri.

The female accused was arrested in the case and the recovered contraband was duly seized as per procedure.

Further investigation is underway to identify and apprehend other associates involved in the illegal drug trade.
