     ISC, Crime Branch  Detained Four Illegal Bangladeshi Nationals from Narela Area, Delhi
In a focused operation to curb illegal immigration and ensure public safety, a dedicated team of ISC, Crime Branch Chanakyapuri acting on the directions of senior officers, conducted a search operation in the Narela area, Delhi and successfully detained 04 illegal Bangladeshi Nationals i.e., 1.  Hafijul (Age 19), R/o Distt Khudigram, Rangpur, Bangladesh, 2. Mominul (Age 21), R/o Distt Nakeshwari Bangladesh 3. Shamim (Age 22), Distt Khudigram, Bangladesh, & 4. Inamul (Age 38) R/o Distt Khudigram Bangladesh. 
Background:-
Since long there has been a noticeable increase in the presence of undocumented illegal migrants within Delhi. Intelligence inputs and field reports indicated the movement and settlement of individuals suspected to have entered the country illegally, bypassing immigration controls. Unregulated and undocumented entry of foreign nationals poses potential risks to public safety and national security. The presence of undocumented migrants places additional pressure on public services, local employment, housing, and health infrastructure. Migrants without legal status may be vulnerable to involvement in criminal activities or labor exploitation, either as victims or, in some cases, perpetrators. Accordingly a coordinated operation aimed at identifying, apprehending, and processing individuals residing in the country without legal authorization was launched.
Team & Action:-
A dedicated team was constituted under the supervision of Inspr. Pawan Kumar and overall supervision of ACP/ISC Sh. Ramesh Chander Lamba, consisting of SI, Sanjay Kumar, SI Rakesh Sharma, HCs Surender & Lalit, to trace the illegal migrants living in different areas in Delhi. To trace illegal migrants team was working since last 01 month in order to trace illegal migrants local intelligence gathering was initiated to identify areas where illegal migrants, particularly from Bangladesh, are known to take shelter, teams were directed to monitor roadside settlements, labor spots, and makeshift dwellings in and around Narela, a dedicated police team comprising HCs Lalit & HC Surender was assigned to carry out ground-level verification in vulnerable pockets, special attention was given to areas where suspected migrants were seen staying without proper documents.  Individuals found during drive were subjected to verification of their identities, background, and documents. The detained individuals were individually questioned regarding their arrival in India, length of stay, places they resided, and their family connections. On 25-05-25, as a result of these coordinated efforts, four illegal Bangladeshi migrants namely 1. Hafijul (Age 19), S/o Hasmat, R/o Village Khoidibadi, PS Phulwadi, Distt Khudigram, Rangpur, Bangladesh, 2. Mominul (Age 21), S/o Jahangir, R/o Village Kalirhut, Distt Nakeshwari, PS Phulwadi, Bangladesh, 3. Shamim (Age 22), S/o Shamshul, R/o Village Nahargunj, Distt Khudigram, Rangpur, Bangladesh & 4. Inamul (Age 38), S/o Jaimal, R/o Village Ghogarkut, Distt Khudigram, Rangpur, PS Phulwadi, Bangladesh, were successfully detained from the area of Nareal area, Delhi. The operation highlights Delhi Police’s continued commitment to identifying and addressing illegal immigration issues to safeguard city security and uphold the law.
Profile:- 
All the four illegal migrants entered India from Bangladesh during their childhood, accompanied by parents who later returned to Bangladesh.  Since then, they had been living illegally in India for best employment opportunities and moving across various cities such as Bahadurgarh, Sonipat, Khurja, Mahendragarh, Ghaziabad, Behraor, and Delhi to avoid detection. They had been residing secretly on roadside in Delhi for many years and admitted to having no relatives or legal ties in India. Their immediate and extended families, including parents, siblings, and grandparents, continue to reside in Bangladesh. None of them could produce any valid identity proof of either country. 
All four migrants are currently in detention centre and are being processed as per law.
