*🔹️JOINT EFFORTS OF ANTI-NARCOTICS SQUAD, OUTER DISTRICT AND PS SULTAN PURI ARRESTED ONE ACCUSED UNDER THE NARCOTIC DRUGS AND PSYCHOTROPIC SUBSTANCES ACT CASE*
    
*🔹️2.6 KG GANJA (INTERMEDIATE QUANTITY) RECOVERED AND SEIZED IN THE CASE*

*🚨POLICE STATION: ANTI NARCOTICS SQUAD AND PS SULTAN PURI🚨*

As part of the ongoing #नशा_मुक्त_भारत (Drug-Free India) campaign, a determined crackdown has been launched in the Outer District to combat the sale and distribution of NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances). Under the leadership of DCP/Outer District and with active coordination of Sh. Narender Khatri, ACP/Operations, led by Inspector Ritesh, I/C Anti Narcotics Squad, is working relentlessly to dismantle drug networks in jurisdiction.

*⏭️ OPERATION & INTERROGATION:*

On 26th May 2025, while on patrol in the area of Sultan Puri, aimed at prevention and detection of crime and criminal activities, the team from Anti Narcotics Squad comprising SI Ankur, ASI Rajesh, HC Omvir Hooda, received credible intelligence regarding a suspect having some illegal substance in P-1 Block, Sultan Puri.

Based on this credible intelligence, a targeted raid was conducted by the team in coordination with the local police personnel, Head Constable Balraj and Constable Anuj from Police Station Sultan Puri at the specified location. During the operation, the team noticed one suspect, having two white polythene bags in his hand. The person's behavior appeared unusual and upon spotting the police presence, the suspect attempted to flee from the scene. However, due to the swift and effective action of the team, the suspect was apprehended successfully.

The suspect was later identified as Naresh. A thorough search of  two white polythene bags resulted in the recovery of 2.6 kg of Ganja (Intermediate quantity).

Subsequently, a case FIR No. 368/2025, under section 20(b) of The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Act, 1985 was registered at PS Sultan Puri.

The accused was arrested in the case and the recovered contraband was duly seized as per procedure.

🔸️ Naresh R/o Sultan Puri, Delhi, Age 45 yrs.

*⏭️⏩️ RECOVERY:*

🔸️ 2.6 kg Ganja (Intermediate quantity)

Further investigation is ongoing to identify the source of supply the illicit ganja and other individuals involved in the crime.
