✳️ *FOUR ILLEGAL BANGLADESHI MIGRANTS INCLUDING TWO MALES & TWO FEMALES, APPREHANDED BY THE TEAM OF AATS, SOUTH WEST DISTRICT.*
✳️ *THEY WERE ILLEGALLY LIVING IN INDIA SINCE LAST 12 YEARS.*
✳️ *BANGLADESHI IDENTITY DOCUMENTS RECOVERED.*
✳️ *THEY WERE DEPOSITED IN DEPORTATION CENTRE AFTER ALL CODAL FORMALITIES.*
✳️ *PROACTIVE ACTION BY THE TEAM UNDER HOME MINISTRY'S CAMPAIGN TO DEPORT THE ILLEGAL MIGRANTS.*
The team of AATS, South West District has done commendable work by tracing/apprehending four Bangladeshi national residing illegally in Delhi, namely *1. Mohd. Asad Ali S/o Mohd. Shahjahan Ali,* Age 44 years, *2. Nasima Begum W/o Mohd. Asad Ali,* Age 40 years, *3. Mohd. Naim Khan S/o Mohd. Asad Ali,* Age 18 years & *4. Asha Moni D/o Mohd. Asad Ali,* Age 13 years. All are resident of Farooq Bazar Ajwatari, P.O. Gongarhat, Phulbari Kurigram, Bangladesh. They were deposited in deportation center after all codal formalities.
*DETAILS OF THE OPERATION*
To prevent and detect crime and monitor foreigners residing illegally in the jurisdiction of South West Distt, the team of AATS/SWD was directed to gather intelligence and take strict action against illegal migrants. Accrodingly, a dedicated team comprising ASI Praveen Kumar, ASI Vinod, ASI Jaipal, W/ASI Sandhya, HC Mohit, HC Narender, HC Kishan & HC Devender was constituted under the leadership of Insp. Ram Kumar, I/C AATS/SWD & under the supervision of Sh. Ranvir Singh, ACP/Ops. The primary objective of the team was to identify and deport illegal Bangladeshi migrants by conducting thorough checks in vulnerable areas. The team roped in secret informers to gather information about illegal migrants.
The team received an information through a secret informer about some illegal Bangladeshi migrant roaming in Delhi Cantt. Acting swiftly, the team approached the suspected persons & enquired about their identity/ documents. Upon interrogation, the individuals failed to produce valid Indian documents and admitted to being illegal Bangladeshi migrants who had entered India approx. 12 years ago by illegal means (by crossing the river). They only had photocopies of Bangladeshi documents i.e. national ID card of Bangladesh. The suspects were apprehended and after thorough verification and enquiry, the necessary legal formalities were done, leading to their deportation through the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO).

3. Mohd. Naim Khan S/o Mohd. Asad Ali R/o Farooq Bazar Ajwatari, P.O. Gongarhat, Phulbari Kurigram, Bangladesh, Age 18 years.
4. Asha Moni D/o Mohd. Asad Ali R/o Farooq Bazar Ajwatari, P.O. Gongarhat, Phulbari Kurigram, Bangladesh, Age 13 years.
This successful operation highlights the South West District Police's zero-tolerance approach toward illegal immigration and their commitment to enforcing the rule of law. Such efforts enhance public safety and reinforce the community's trust in law enforcement agencies.
