SHISTACHAR SQUAD: OUTER DISTRICT UNIT LEADS CHARGE FOR SAFE PUBLIC SPACES AT SHAKUR BASTI RAILWAY

🚨 *SHISTACHAR SQUAD: OUTER DISTRICT UNIT LEADS CHARGE FOR SAFE PUBLIC SPACES AT SHAKUR BASTI RAILWAY STATION* 🚨

The quiet hum of Shakur Basti Railway Station was stirred by something more powerful than the usual hustle; a wave of change. With determined steps and a clear mission, the Shistachar Squad of the Outer District Police launched a spirited campaign against eve-teasing and public harassment, placing community consciousness at the heart of public safety.

*Not just a drive; a movement in motion!*
Dressed in khaki resolve and civic duty, officers fanned out across the railway station platforms and nearby market lanes, distributing awareness pamphlets and initiating one on one dialogues with commuters, vendors and passersby. The message was clear: Public spaces belong to everyone and harassment has no place in them.

*Community meets courage!*
The campaign didn’t just inform it inspired. Onlookers applauded as officers spoke to young girls about asserting their rights, and to local men about becoming allies in safety. “It’s not just the police’s responsibility,” said one shopkeeper, “We’re all part of this city and it’s time we acted like it.”

*From awareness to action!*
This isn’t a one-off initiative but part of a larger framework to shift public perception and reclaim everyday spaces for women. “We’re not just policing, we’re planting seeds of respect and vigilance". “The Shistachar Squad is our bridge to the people, we want every citizen to know they are not alone.”
