🔸 *"Burglary Case Breakthrough: Two Accused Nabbed by Subhash Place Police Team"*

✵ *One diamond ring, foreign currency (Thailand Baht), and one stolen motorcycle were recovered from their possession.*

✵ *Accused Ram Khilawan was found to be a proclaimed offender and the mastermind behind multiple fraud cases. He had been absconding for the past 12 years.*

✵ *During investigation, it was revealed that Ram Khilawan had submitted a forged mark sheet in court in an attempt to falsely claim juvenile status for his brother Vijay in an armed robbery case (FIR No. 145/12, PS Ashok Vihar).*

• *Overview:*

​The police team of Subhash Place Police Station has arrested two accused individuals: (1) Vijay @ Vinay, son of Ram Nihor, resident of Village Sera Par, District Gonda (U.P.), aged 30 years; and (2) Ram Khilawan, son of Ram Nihor, resident of Village Sera Par, District Gonda (U.P.), aged 50 years. One diamond ring, foreign currency (Thailand Baht), and one stolen motorcycle were recovered from their possession. Accused Ram Khilawan was found to be a proclaimed offender and the mastermind behind multiple fraud cases. He had been absconding for the past 12 years.

• *Brief facts of the incident:*

On the evening of April 26, 2025, Gaurav Dhingra and his family returned to their residence in Kohat Enclave after dinner to find the house ransacked and their domestic help, Sonu, missing. Jewellery boxes had been emptied and gold and diamond ornaments were reported stolen. The mobile number associated with Sonu was found to be switched off. Consequently, a case was registered under FIR No. 0287/25 at Police Station Subhash Place.

• *Investigation and Breakthroughs:*

A dedicated team led by Inspector Mahesh Kasana (SHO/Subhash Place) and comprising SI Jitender, SI Rohit Chahar, HC Darvesh, HC Dharamraj, HC Anil, HC Anshul, and HC Vishal, was constituted under the supervision of Sh. Shailendra Singh Chauhan, ACP/Subhash Place, to investigate the case.
In this case, the accused persons—Karan, Saurav, Pramod Kumar, and Pawan Sahoo—had been arrested earlier. However, the remaining accused, Vijay @ Vinay and Ram Khilawan, were still absconding. The team continued its tireless efforts, which ultimately led to the apprehension of the two accused:
(1) Vijay @ Vinay, son of Ram Nihor, resident of Village Sera Par, District Gonda (U.P.), aged 30 years, and
(2) Ram Khilawan, son of Ram Nihor, resident of Village Sera Par, District Gonda (U.P.), aged 50 years.

• *Interrogation:-*
During sustained interrogation, the accused confessed to their involvement in the present case along with their associates. Based on the disclosure of accused Vijay @ Vinay, one diamond ring, foreign currency (Thailand Baht), and one stolen motorcycle—found to be linked to E-FIR No. 12292/24 registered at PS Aman Vihar, Rohini—were recovered.
Further interrogation revealed that accused Ram Khilawan is a proclaimed offender and the mastermind behind multiple fraud cases. He had been absconding for the past 12 years. It was also found that he had submitted a forged marksheet in court in an attempt to falsely claim juvenile status for his brother Vijay in an armed robbery case (FIR No. 145/12, PS Ashok Vihar).

Previous Involvement: Involved in 03 criminal cases.

➢ Ram Khilawan, son of Ram Nihor, resident of Village Sera Par, District Gonda (U.P.), aged 50 years.
