THE TEAMS OF ANTI HUMAN TRAFFICKING UNIT (ISO-9001:2015 Certified)/CRIME BRANCH ROHINI, HAVE RECOVERED THREE MINOR MISSING/KIDNAPPED GIRLS.
• Minor missing girls traced and reunited with their family by Crime Branch under “Operation Milap”
1. DETAILS OF CASE -I
The victim (age-17 years) was reported kidnapped/missing since 05.04.2025 from the area of PS Dabri, Delhi. The family members tried to locate the victim and after failing, the complaint was lodged after two days. Being Nodal Agency of Delhi Police, the team of Anti Human Trafficking Unit, Crime Branch, comprising of Inspector Virender Kumar, HC Anuj and W/HC Sukanya, take up the matter due to its sensitivity and worked relentlessly and collected information from various persons, suspects and secret informers.
INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION:
The preliminary enquiry in the matter revealed that the victim was in contact with the suspect since last 6/7months as he was working near the house of victim in Delhi. She left her home as per the planning of the suspect. The team of AHTU Crime Branch, recovered the victim girl from the area of PS City Jind, Distt. Jind, Haryana. During this exercise, the team analysed the CDR of more than 35 mobile numbers of various suspects, CCTV footage of various areas was checked and several persons were examined. Multiple raids were conducted in the area of Sonipat, Gohana and Jind in Haryana. Finally, the team recovered the victim from a rented house and also detained the suspect (age-23 years) after chasing him for 3-4 kms.
2. DETAILS OF CASE – 2
On 18.05.2025, the complainant reported to PS Prem Nagar, Delhi regarding missing/kidnapping of his daughter(age-16 years). On the statement of the Complainant a case vide FIR No336/2025 dt.18/05/25 U/S 137(2) BNS, was registered at PS Prem Nagar, Delhi.
INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION:
A dedicated team of AHTU/Crime Branch, comprising of Insp. Mukesh Kumar, SI Vishal Gupta, W/SI Meenakshi, HC Amit no. 946/Crime and W/Ct. Kajal was constituted to trace the missing victim. The team started working on this case.During the search of the victim raids and local enquiry were conducted in various areas of Delhi/NCR. Further, friends of victim were examined, CDRs of related mobile numbers were analysed, multiple CCTV footages and child/observation homes were also checked. Based on the technical surveillance and secret information, the victim was traced from the area of Durga chowk, Prem Nagar, Delhi. The recovery of the minor missing girl has been affected on the specific information of HC Amit No. 946/Crime.
On examination of the victim, it is revealed that the victim stopped studying, which led her parents to scold, and as a result, she left her home. On 17.05.2025,victim along with her friend went to Vrindavan UP,without informing her parents.While she was returningto Delhi, she was recovered/traced near Durga Chowk, Prem Nagar, Delhi and handed over to local police for further proceedings.
3. DETAILS OF CASE - 3
On 19.05.2025, the complainant reported regarding kidnapping/missing of the victimaged 16 years from the area of PS Prem Nagar. On the statement of the Complainant a case vide FIR No. FIR No:-338/2025 dt.19/05/25 U/S 137(2) BNS has been registered at PS Prem Nagar, Delhi.
INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION:
A dedicated team of AHTU/Crime Branch, comprising of Insp. Mukesh Kumar, SI Vishal Gupta, W/SI Meenakshi, HC Amit no. 946/Crime and W/Ct. Kajal was constituted to trace the missing victim. Based on the technical surveillance and secret information, the victim was traced from the area near Govt. Girl Senior Secondary School Kavita Colony, Nangloi, Delhi.
On examination of victim, it is revealed that the victim left house without informing anyone. Thereafter, she went to Bangla Sahab Gurudwara Delhi and further victim was going to her friend’s house at Nangloi Delhi.
The recovered victims have been handed over to the local police for further legal proceedings.
These successful operations underscore the unwavering commitment of the Crime Branch, Delhi Police to trace missing persons especially vulnerable minors and restore them safely to their families.
