A REWARDEE OF CASH RS. 25000/- WANTED IN A CASE OF DRUG TRAFFCIKING OF CRIME BRANCH ARRESTED FROM GUJARAT BY THE TEAM OF CENTRAL RANGE, CRIME BRANCH

•    Accused identified as Bazid Khan, a resident of Shahjanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Age 24 Years. 
•    Declared Proclaimed Offender in the month of Feb. 2025 in drug peddling case reported at PS Crime Branch.
•    A cash reward of Rs.25,000/- was declared on his arrest by Delhi Police.  

INCIDENT
    On 21.05.2023,   team of Crime Branch, apprehended one person namely Imran Khan @ Sahil, who was found indulged in drug trafficking activities and 269 grams of contraband was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case was registered vide FIR No. 123/23, u/s 21 of the NDPS Act, at Police Station Crime Branch.  During interrogation, he disclosed the name of the source of the alleged contraband as Bazid Khan.  Accused Bazid Khan was absconding and evading his arrest knowingly and despite vigorous efforts, he could not be traced.  Accordingly, he was declared Proclaimed Offender by the hon’ble court in the month of Feb. 2025.  Besides it, a cash reward of Rs.25,000/- was also declared by Delhi Police on his arrest.

INFORMATION & OPERATION   
On receipt of some information about the above proclaimed offender by HC Manoj Kumar, a team headed by SI Abodh Kumar comprising ASI Deep Chand, HCs Manoj Kumar, Sandeep Kumar, Vinod Kumar, Sukram Pal, Sanjay & Manish, and Ct. Sumit was constituted to carry out an operation under the supervision of Inspr. Veer Singh, Central Range, Crime Branch.  The said operation was guided and closely supervised by Sh. Pankaj Arora, ACP/Central Range, Crime Branch. 
During operation, a detailed information about the said wanted criminal was searched manually as well as with the help technical tools.  The team managed to get mobile numbers suspected to be connected with wanted criminal Bazid Khan. HC Sandeep Kumar analyzed the call details of all suspected numbers and based on the CDR/IPDR analysis, the above team conducted raids at several locations in Shahjahan Pur and Behraich in Uttar Pradesh but he was not found there.  Finally, his location was found in Gujarat. 
On 15.05.2025, the above team reached Gujarat and conducted raids at several locations.   Finally, the team succeeded in apprehending the accused Bazid Khan on 18.05.2025 from Morbi, Gujarat.   
PROFILE OF ACCUSED
    Accused Bazid Khan, a resident of District Shahjanpur, Uttar Pradesh.  He is school dropout and studied up to 5th standard. He is a driver by profession and also involved in drug trafficking activities but arrested first time.
