*West District Police Hosts Meeting with School Principals, as part of campaign to Combat Drug Addiction*

👉🏼 *_More than hundred school principals of West District participated in the meeting_*
👉🏼 *_Drug addiction and bad habits in the students were discussed during the meeting_*
Under the "Nasha Mukt Delhi Campaign," a meeting was held with the principals of government schools in the West District, at the Seminar Hall, Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology, under the close supervision of Smt. Lakshmi Kanwat, Addl. DCP-II/West. All SDPOs/West also participated.
There are complaints from time to time, about the students involved in consumption of drugs. Hence, School principals were approached through police stations and the DCP office, to collect information on that, so that an effective combat strategy can be prepared.
Emphasis was on strategies for early intervention and prevention, urging principals to establish robust mechanisms to identify vulnerable students. Schools were assured that on request counselling sessions will be facilitated.
