It is submitted that information regarding one wanted criminal Romil Vohra s/o Kapil Vohra r/o Yamuna Nagar was received by staff of Counter Intelligence, Special Cell, Delhi Police from Haryana Police in the intervening night of 23/24 June, 2025. A joint checking exercise was undertaken in the vicinity of Delhi-Haryana border near Dera Mandi.
In the early hours of 24 June 2025, Romil was identified by informer and police teams tried to apprehend him. Romil fired on the police party and tried to escape. The police team fired in self defence. Two members of police team SI Pravin and SI Rohan and wanted criminal Romil sustained injuries. The injured have been rushed to hospital. A case in this regard is being registered under relevant sections.

Profile of wanted criminal:
Romil is an active shooter of the infamous Kala Rana-Noni Rana gang. He gained notoriety after his involvement in recent Shantanu murder case of Kurukshetra district and triple murder case of Yamunanagar district.

Romil is also wanted in a case of Arms Act of Delhi.
