In accordance with the directions issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Outer District, all police personnel have been thoroughly briefed and sensitized to maintain  vigilance across their respective areas of responsibility. Emphasis has been laid on proactive policing measures to ensure the maintenance of law and order, as well as to safeguard the safety and security of citizens within the jurisdiction of the Outer District.

🚨 *POLICE STATION: NANGLOI* 🚨

▶️ *OPERATION AND INTERROGATION:*

On 29th June 2025, during routine beat patrol duty, Head Constable Sandeep and Head Constable Mayaram of Police Station Nangloi reached near the Rail Neer Water Plant, Nangloi, where they received secret information regarding the presence of two suspicious individuals. Acting on this input, the team laid a trap at the specified location and soon noticed two persons who, upon spotting the police personnel, attempted to flee, thereby raising further suspicion.

Demonstrating alertness, the officers immediately initiated a pursuit. The suspects were successfully intercepted and apprehended on the spot. Upon preliminary questioning, they were identified as Shivam @ Kalu and Hari Mohan.

A cursory search of the suspects led to the recovery of one button-actuated knife from the possession of Hari Mohan. Accordingly, a case was registered at Police Station Nangloi vide FIR No. 255/2025 under Sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act.

Additionally, one mobile phone was recovered from the possession of accused Shivam @ Kalu. When questioned about the ownership of the mobile phone, he failed to provide any satisfactory explanation. Upon verification, the mobile phone was found to be linked to e-FIR No. 80060418/25, under Sections 305/331(4)/317(2) BNS, registered at Police Station Nangloi.

During interrogation, the accused confessed to their involvement in other cases.  Shivam @ Kalu was found involved in e-FIR No. 80061103/25 dated 28.06.2025 under Section 305/317(2) BNS, PS Nangloi. He further revealed that he had sold stolen items to a scrap dealer and disclosed the location where the items were sold. Acting on this information, the team conducted a raid at the Scrap Dealer shop, apprehended him, identified as Suresh Kumar and recovered 2 kg of brass scrap from him.

Further,  both the accused were also found involved in e-FIR No. 80061146/25, dated 28.06.2025 under Sections 305/331(4)/317(2) BNS, PS Nangloi. Based on their disclosure, a stolen LED TV and electric wire were recovered.

Further investigation revealed that accused Shivam @ Kalu is previously involved in more than 25 other criminal cases, while accused Hari Mohan is involved in more than 30 cases.

Both the accused were arrested and the recovered items were seized.

2. Shivam@Kalu R/o Nangloi, Delhi, Age- 24 years( *previously involved in more than 25  other criminal cases*)

3. Suresh Kumar R/o Nangloi, Delhi, Age- 41 years

Further investigation into the cases is ongoing.
