🔹️ *05 CASES WORKED OUT WITH HIS ARREST*

🚨 *POLICE STATION: PASCHIM VIHAR EAST* 🚨

In accordance with the directions issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Outer District, all field staff have been thoroughly briefed and sensitized to maintain vigilance across their respective areas of responsibility. Emphasis has been laid on proactive policing measures to ensure the maintenance of law and order, as well as to safeguard the safety and security of citizens within the jurisdiction of the Outer District.

▶️ *OPERATION AND INTERROGATION:*

On 07 July 2025, during foot patrolling at DDA Ground, Peera Garhi Camp, Head Constable Neeraj, Head Constable Jitender and Constable Hansraj of Police Station Paschim Vihar East noticed a person approaching from the direction of Sultanpuri on a bicycle. The individual was behaving in a suspicious manner. When signaled to stop, he attempted to escape, but demonstrating alertness , the staff swiftly apprehended him. He was identified as Ramesh Kumar on enquiry.

During questioning, suspect Ramesh Kumar revealed that he had stolen the bicycle from the area of PS Paschim Vihar East. Upon verification, the bicycle was found to be linked to e-FIR No. 80056481/2025, PS Paschim Vihar East. During further sustained interrogation, he confessed to being involved in several other theft cases of bicycles. Based on his disclosure, the staff recovered four more bicycles. These were found to be stolen from the area of PS Paschim Vihar East vide e-FIR Nod. 80033386/2025, 80041680/2025, 80065529/2025 and 80061705/2025. On verification, he was found previously involved in other criminal cases too.

The accused was arrested and all recovered bicycles were seized for further legal proceedings.
