🔹️ *01 COUNTRY MADE PISTOL AND 01 LIVE CARTRIDGE RECOVERED FROM HIS POSSESSION AND SEIZED*

🚨 *POLICE STATION: NIHAL VIHAR* 🚨

▶️ *OPERATION:*

On 9th July 2025, during a routine crime prevention and detection patrol in Chander Vihar, Constable Ravi from PS Nihal Vihar reached near the dump yard, Naala Road  where he noticed a  person showing suspicious behaviour. On seeing the police personnel, he turned back and attempted to flee. Demonstrating alertness, the officer immediately initiated a pursuit and successfully apprehended him. During preliminary questioning, he was identified as 'Sonu'.

A cursory search of the suspect led to the recovery of one country made pistol and one live cartridge from his possession. on verification, he was found previously involved in 10 other criminal cases too.

As a result, a case was registered at PS Nihal Vihar vide FIR No. 478/2025 under section 25 of The Arms Act.

The accused Sonu was arrested and the recovered pistol and cartridge were seized in connection with the case.
